Has anyone really explored in their tower? I mean.... I haven't really done much in their home. Does anyone have any information on them? I'm just curious...I was thinking of exploring their area...hehe..
 
I went down there a while back to give it a run, I hit one cardian and then they were on me like white on rice. I ran away like the little girl I am.
 
I think cards from 2 to 10 are just normal mobs, and Jack-Ace are NMs. The Jacks are for Windurst 6-1, and the Kings and two of the Queens are for a Kindred's Seal BCNM.

Aside from that, all I really know is that they're Arcane, so DRKs are good at killing them.
 
Honestly, unless you are doing the Wind Missions, you can spend your entire game life without ever seeing or dealing with a Card. But if it is information you want on the Cards, I suggest you do the Wind mission. Those mission, while having the best story of the 3 nations, also tell you more about Cards then you would ever care to know.

I remember being a lowbie and barely walking in there and getting aggro up the ying yang....those cards are tight.
 
You fools. That's right, just ignore the cardians..

When I arise to take over the world with my army of cardians and crabs, THEN you'll be sorry you didn't see the ruins or cardians for what they really are. MWAHAHA. Kazham is going down first. 8)

I tried to find the Cardians a while back, but in typical Windy fashion, they were hidden by mountains of garbage I was unwilling to wade through. I just cant find the damn things! :cry:

This little warping tarus need to be out in sabutara and tahrongi too, I hate that side of the world. :x

I've explored a little bit of the Horutoto (sp?) Ruins and ran into these things. Pretty easy to kill solo, but when they gang up on you, run like hell. XD They have a very far sound aggro range and I do believe they aggro to magic as well. :shock: What are the rare/ex cards they drop used for anyway? Windy missions?
 
According to Alla, the Rare cards they drop (not Ex; you can trade/sell them) will keep that card from aggroing you...

Not sure if that's true or not.

The text on the card says it allows you to control that type of cardian.
Maybe you could have an army of cardiands if you gather the complete set 8)
 
One of the Ten cards is used in the quest for the Opo-opo crown. I think there was another quest that used a card, but I don't remember...

Anyway, the only secrets you'll find in that tower are cracked walls that lead to rooms with higher-level Cardians. :lol: There is a door at the back of the room with the 10s that is used for Windy 6-1 (when you check it while on that mission, it spawns 4 Jack Cardians) and Windy 8-2 (when you check it while on that mission, it spawns 2 Queen Cardians). The King Cardians are in a Kindred Seal BCNM, and the Ace Cardians are fought in Windurst 9-2 in Full Moon Fountain.

And speaking of Cardians taking over the world....
