I don't have that problem.
 
Its really only happened for me on 2 bosses. The barbarian boss if you kill him with the boomerang it glitches and if you kill the catfish while he's stunned from the cannonball it glitches. The bosses after those 2 are too mobile for the rang' to work.

The bat is evil. His tongue meows like a cat. On insane if you get hit with it it does 999 dmg to you which...yeah...I just prefer to use magic. Thats the first stat I max out on everyone is magic, then mix between str/def and finally agility.

Just hold the block button on the bat... and let the exp roll in.
 
Yeah I tried that for a while. He just flies up too much for my taste. That and the little bats that come out annoy the shit outta me. Keep gnawing on my head...
 
The bat doesn't move or fly or anything if you are in the upper left corner, pressing and holding block the entire time. The toss the rang and just sit there. It really doesn't get much easier.
 
This game is a ton of fun, I bought it last night and just finished regular mode a few minutes ago, gettin ready to start on insane mode.

Archers in general are a pain in the ass, lol. I usually just freeze em and kill off the other guys. I love the ice knight, freezing is great crowd control
 
The only problem is his area magic takes a TON of mana. With the other knights you can magic jump and use their diagonal Y aerial magic several times, but with blue its magic jump and once. Still though, its a great game.

Yeah, but I find the mana regenerates fast enough that the large cost of his spread attack doesn't bother me much... I'm soloing insane mode with no real problems.. I went through normal mode with my roommate and we died a couple times at bosses at the end of a long chain. Really really fun game
 
It is. The red knights magic is incredibly strong, especially if you lock multiple people in it at full. A full bar has so far taken down every mob.

By all means, have at it, XD. It just seemed like you were using the wrong method for the bat.


I've been tinkering with the Red Knight lately. It's fun to shock a whole screen of enemies to near death.
 
I tend to just magic jump and whack the shit out of him in the air, and then use magic on the ground. I beat the game earlier today with the conehead. First time I've ever gone through the gauntlet with 3 potions and lived. I only used one potion on the final boss too.

The painter makes me giggle profusely.
 
This game is tits. Nothin' about it is a generic beat 'em up to me. It kind of has its own little worlkd like Odin Sphere. As a matter of fact, not havin' a PS2 and Odin Sphere anymore, this game was a welcome purchase and has silenced my need for Odin Sphere W A N T. I also like it havin' PvP, that's awesome. Hopefully I can spend more time with it this week but so far, about an hour or so in, I'll say I would have payed $25-30 for it. I see myself spendin' a lot of time with this game considerin' all the cool characters to level up and arena with.
 
Alright back to the bat topic! So me and my Friend was on insane and was exping off the bat and we where like trying to talk each other into letting go of Block! So here we are fighting over who was going to do it first so i said "Fuck it" and let go while he is stil holding block and i get It for 999 and now i'm eatting Dirt. So my Rang is stil behide the bat and i'm still getting exp and i'm dead, Funny think is when i lvl up i get full Heath and i'm still laying there with the "Y" over my head to get him to raise me, So after the fight he tryes to raise me but can't, the way around this is to zone out.

oh Before i forget i tryed the catfish is sucks!! Bat FTW
