Looks really badass. Surprisingly enough I may get this when it's released next year.

I fell out of love with the hack n slash Ninja Gaiden types because I found them redundant. I do have to say though Konami and Xbox may make good partners in the Castlevania series.

And MGS coming to xbox... friggin wonderbar!
 
Curse of Darkness was a PS2 game :>
I'm a little iffy on Lords of Shadow. I do hope it keeps the exploration aspect of many of the newer Castlevanias, but I'll give it a shot.

You're quite right.

What I've seen of the trailer is all cinematic battle. I hope a lot of the exploration remains intact as well; I can't see why they would cut short on free roaming.

Side scroll... 2D... Great music... And a guy named Alucard then we have a classic!
 
To be fair, Lament of Innocence wasn't too terrible. This one i have no doubt will be bad though. Looks a little too much like Devil May Cry for me. At least Patrick Stewart is narrating it. I might rent it just to hear that.

The only reason I don't think it'll be exploration-based is because IGA and his team aren't working on it. Not saying that Kojima and the US crew are necessarily bad, but it'll probably be different.
 
I was thinking it looked a tad much like Devil May Cry but I'm hoping there's more to it. Waiting on the demo to conclude really. Knowing majority of any advertisements are going to be battle cinematics so I can't assume too much.

I didn't mind the first Devil May Cry, but from there they just got redundant.. and I hate redundant games.
 
why is this in Microsoft :P it's on more than one system or were there more than one Castlevania game announced and I missed one? hmmz

But ya, this game looks like it'll be fun but amusing cause this is another game, I believe, that wasn't intended for the series it got a name for. Another example being Silent Hill 4: The Room :P

It's coming out on xbox.. and I'm an xbox owner? lol

Also, when I watched the trailer I only saw the xbox logo for platform release and didn't look any further.
