celesia is a thief

ah :P well.. I hope all goes well for your LS though. I like amusing drama but I don't like seeing nice people get screwed over x.x

Ele, it wasnt a mistake.. it was done with malicious intent. when the whole ls is asking for you to pass on something that isnt yours, and you take it anyway, why should you be given a second chance?

well what Yanzi was refering to with maseki would most likely be the BoL and Serket thing where he intentionally MPKed Deniro.. but ya.. I'm not saying it was right.. I was just pointing out yanzi was making it seem like a second chance is due if they prove they will do well.

If the Dynamis LS members bazzar their hourglass for 1gil once they entered dynamis, maybe then the "Thief's" hourglass can be removed by another member and force him out of the area in 30 sec if there is any kind of relic AF stealing?

I didn't come up with this idea, one of my Dynamis LS has this rule, don't remember seeing AF being stolen like this though.

that's an interesting way to do things.. and I guess if they don't you can ask them to leave and if they don't you can call a GM cause (I know from past threads) the GM will do something about that

the cities are free lot for your main job, then for next highest ppl who have sam leveled.
i.e. if any new sam joins, they can lot sam AF in the cities. it is only in the northlands where there is a tier. tier is based on attendance, seniority, etc. once a tier is cleared, will the next tier's ppl move up and new people added to the lower tier.
as for the cities AF, it's gotten to the point that all (or most) of our sams have them. a few pieces are even free lotted by people who's main is not sam. so if celesia hasn't gotten anything in 8 months, he can only blame his own poor attendance.

Yes, our system allows you to scale up on tiers based on your attendance in the LS, you can either go up or down, so people who are on tier 1 can go down to tier 2 and tier 2 can go up to 1.
Ok, so it is a "first come, first serve" system, but people have the ability to move up the tiers. How do they go about doing that, if Person A has been in the shell for 40 runs, and person B joined the shell much later and has only been on 20 runs; how could person B ever catch up to person A's attendance record unless person A stopped coming for a while?

And is there something really wrong about someone contributing for 50 runs to get something over someone only contributing for 25 runs?

If thats the case, then you cant. The people in tier one have still put in more work, and therefore, based on that deserve the af.

The thing is, b4 people join the shell, these things are explained to them. If they dont like it they dont have to join. The problem we have here is that celes knew the rules, if she didnt like them, she could have joined a different dynamis shell.

Exactly, I mean no one really begged Celesia to join up. She knew she probably wouldnt get the first AF. If she had a problem with that, she shouldn't have joined.

we tried that to combat AFK ppl but the idea never took off. besides, if someone really wanted to be malicious, i'd take glass out of bazaar, then lot.

only for the 2 northland zones.
and if the tier is cleared, new ppl move up.

so let me understand this.. person A comes for 40 runs since the beginning, person B joins later but comes for 20 runs since he joined (every run since he joined let's say). Person B wants DRG AF2 (lawl) and Person A just completed all their BRD AF2 and wants to go DRG AF2... does this mean Person A is gonna get bumped up above person B for rights on DRG AF2?

no, the tiers are job specific

I see.. so you switch AF2 you go to the bottom of the tier. If you leave that AF2 without getting it all you can't go back in place where you were if you wanna lot on that other AF2 again, I take it, yes?

Their system seems really fair to me from an outsider perspective, not sure why everyone is attacking it.

I would think that when you join a dynamis shell you declare a main job that you will be lotting af for, you arent allowed to randomly lot af for multiple jobs (unless no one's main needs said item and it goes to free lot among other members with that job).

Also remember once a player recieves an af piece he cannot recieve it again. Once the rightful sam got his body it would be open to the next tier. Its not like he has a monopoly on the item, just on the first drop. As more of the item drop it will progress down the tiers until everyone has it then free lot.

As for the OP, wow what a shitty thing to do. I'm sorry that happened and will definately make sure I don't end up in dynamis runs with this individual. To his/her LS-mates in the social shell, I don't know this person but i hope you guys don't just ignore this like it never happened. I am not saying kick him/her, but don't pretend everything is fine. There really is no excuse for this kind of behavior and in a game like this where so much of our play relies on each other, breaking trust should not be free.

I'm not attacking their system XD I'm just trying to understand it cause I'm unsure how it works and curiousity has peeked.

As for that, I have no idea. No ones actually tried that. You may wanna ask that leaders if you're really interested in the system =P

This, i cannot answer. As far as i know, no one has changed their main job.
