Why did you bring up Valk's name in the 1st place? Oh thats right, you were trying to make it seem like because Dua had joined Valkyrs, that the OP was a hypocrite for saying that Celesia was a thief........... even though the two shells have nothing to do with each other....... please continue :biggrin:
 
I've been in OH for about 9 months, I've never seen Prophecy steal. For the greater extent of the time here we've had an open bank where it's all documented and points are shown.

Prior to that we had a bank system where the money was simply divided to pay for cursed items for certain members in the interest of increasing strength. For example we sold the cloths from our Kirins and bought Togis for our MNKs as well. This required trust which OH members had and of course non OH members started rumors. Unfortunately for the rumors Prophecy having already had his sky gear for the most part didn't benefit from the system. It more benefitted members like Warick or Delite with expensive abjuration they couldn't have afforded. The rumors didn't die out til we converted to a point system. But to this date no member or ex member has directed accused Prophecy of ripping anyone off.

Therefore I can't really comment except to say obviously the situation is very different than Dua or Celesia. All stealing I know of is of ex members with opportunity and a chip on their shoulder about disagreements in what they earned and how the numbers work out for them.

my point is that someone may be a member of something, some organization, live in some place. but it doesn't mean they always agree with what is going on. and that just because someone is a member of something, some organization or lives in some place, it doesn't mean they agree with everything that goes on. capische?

Ignorance is a great excuse. And Penut is not a thief by my definition. Penut left BoL and kept his nobles tunic. That is not thieving. They seem most upset that he chose to sell the tunic I believe instead of keep it. And again with the country bologna? I hope the smarter half of you realizes how weak this is.

try pleading ignorance in a court of law, see how far that takes you. ignorance is never an excuse for anything.
i might as well say Dua was not a thief by my definition. i don't know the story, for all i know, that SH was his. same thing?
it's only bologna because you have no valid retort and resort to petty insults.

My case might have flaws, but my case and the case you're presenting for me are different. I might as well say you're wrong because it's not right to call all black people thieves. It's true that it's wrong to say that... but where did you say it? If you can't make a case against me without making things up might as well just back down.

I don't think much of what Penut did, and your ignorance is no excuse argument is rather lame. It talks about being ignorant of the law. Like if I didn't know it was illegal to drive blindfolded. That meaning does not carry over into situations as such. And it makes little sense. I didn't steal. I didn't break any "laws". I was simply unaware someone else did. And I did kick that person. And they weren't technically a "thief".

By posting here on this OP, Yanzi is officially denoucing Celesia for being a thief.

This is a value that remains very important to me. I hate thieves with a passion. They disgust me and I can't stand being associated with them.

So when someone professes their dislike of thieves, and questions a linkshell by associating themselves with a thief, a light goes off in my head. Does this person really share my values, or, do they profess my values without holding them dear.

I attempted to prove, well, this is a person who tolerates thieves. This is a person who cheers thieves on, if they happen to be in their corner. This is my personal view. This is how I see it. I have my own set of morals, they may not be yours. Thsi is a public forum, I said my views.

And it is my belief that if/when Dua returns, Yanzi will continue to accept Dua while treating Celesia harshly, and expect others to, for the exact same thing.

Your problem is you are interpreting a specific target as a direct attack on all of Perfect.
 
I have been reading this thread and it seems blatantly clear what fire is trying to question.

Basically how can you post about somone stealing and trying to hold thier LS accountable when you the same person is in a LS that takes self admitted thieves and is ok with it.

That is called Hypocricy.

My point, was that Yanzi was using the country example to talk about herself, you were taking it as standing for the linkshell. Was just hoping you'd pick up on that when I bolded those parts out. Just pointing that out, I have no interest in arguing on this point.
