Cell Phones have no manners!

Personally I think it's incredibly rude to text or answer your phone when it's not an emergency when out with friends or family for dinner, coffee, what have you.
I know if I were to tell my other half later when I returned the call or text that I was visiting he would understand. A lot of people would find it rude and 99% it is not an emergency. What did we all do back in the day when cell phones were not easily available to the general public? Messages were left on home answering machines and we answered them when we got the time. Again if it's not an emergency I don't see why it can't wait.
Ice if your lady gets bent because you happened to return a text an hour later rather than immediately you should maybe tell her to chill the hell out, smoke a doob or find something to occupy her time lol. I mean shit, what if your cell died? Or you locked it in your car along with your keys? Left it at a buddies house or worse yet had just dropped and broke it? Shit happens.
People need to relax more about constantly being connected. Life is not going to pass you by if you don't answer your texts or calls right away. And if you happen to miss out on some awesome opportunity like a concert or something, well again shit happens. You were otherwise occupied =)
I like cells for their convenience only, it sucks balls when I blow a tire and don't have a dummy to throw on. Or my car overheats and I'm stuck on the side of the road. That's why I want a cell. Not even soo much anymore because with a brand new car I don't have to worry that much now.

I <3 my cell phone, its pulled me out of so many jams XD Yeah its extremely rude to have it in a playhouse or movie theater, I mean shit, you went to watch a show/movie and should be focused on that (unless you took a lady friend) so I mean seriously. Its why I love Hugh Jackman, hes an increadibly classy guy and doing what he did (even though he shoulda had the person kicked) was extremely patient on his part.
As for texting with friends, I can multi-task, but if a friend feels its rude, ill tell the other person im corresponding with that I'm busy and stop texting at that point.
