im pretty sure this hasnt been edited in any way since look at it got limit points and crap like that but heres the picture.

I don't believe that. If someone was TRYING to do something like that and break a record, you'd think they'd have fraps running and make a movie. And besides, I think there's simply not enough mobs. 40 mobs?
 
I have personaly seen a chain 25 before, was helping my bro do rank 5 in castle O, he had to be 22 at the time and me and a few friends where tearing through yaguda that where signifigiantly higher then him.
 
Looking at it closely... That person recieving this EXP has 1500 health, my wager is they are 70+, I am sorry this is a lie. Looking at it closely there is no way that a 70+ could kill anything for an exp chain that would only give 105 offa chain 40, a chain 4 though... with a lil paint shop work... Hell the 0 in the 40 has a difrent color then the 4 if you look closely, the 4 is brighter.

EDIT: They have to be 75 to get limit points.
 
it's alliance and it's a bunch of people solo-ing crap simultaniously.. that's about as close as i can figure... could be a lie, who knows?

Yeah. I hate people that stop after a chain 5, thinking there is nothing beyond it. Like, I'll notice that my pt is able to take on another fiend, so when one is about dead, I'll tell the puller to go grab another quick. Then everyone will start yelling at me on how it won't matter, and how it will just restart the chain. Then I just sigh and explain to them. Yes, it is hard to do sometimes when there aren't alot of mobs around or whatnot, but it is possible. I have probably only gotten about 5 Chain 6's.
 
After 5 i believe there is a constant time limit to do #6+, so if you can kill mobs at a steady pace after 5 within the 5+ limit, you could potentially chain endlessly.

There are in fact enough mobs in KRT to do this, whether they are in an alliance or not we can't tell, but i'd assume not since they got 105 (xp/limit same thing). Those bones aint exactly hard to kill with the right pt, a pt of smn can down one bone mob in about 5 seconds. Maybe it was a pt of BLM? Or MNK? Cannon PTs (RNG record is like #28? I forget) tend to be able to break the #5 limits.
 
Actually that pt was 3 monk (geared with best items such as indra katars, kirin osode and such), 1 blm, 1 brd, 1 smn (?) could be whm. Yes there were no skill chain, just spam asuran fists. With 3 monks having best gears any bone type will go down momentaneously and with blm nuking to no end it makes things go down even faster. There was a video somewhere in Killing ifrit, or was it FFXIonline.com I forgot.
 
Yup.. it's not fake.. I still want to try WAR/NIN x5 BRD/WHM party or WAR/NIN x4 BLM/WHM BRD/WHM at 75... so... freakin.. bad.

We got a chain 7 in the FN static, but I've never seen anything higher than that...I...really can't think that you could be able to get to 40 though, considering the time limit between 5 and 6 is so short.
 
ive seen pictures of chain 18 24 26 im pretty sure this is real since by the looks of it they could get it if they planned it out plus they werent EXPing they were just going for a record as you can see only 100 or so points given so they were probably killing evens+ and while in middle of the fight they could pull another while still killing one.
