Changes to Campaign Battle?

Is it just me or does anyone notice that sometimes, bigger than before waves of mobs will come.. and then not even halfway through the mobs they all warp out and get shit exp? (from the shortness of battle etc.) That kinda sucks, I wanna see more 2700 exp gains from one Battle! not this 400 every 5 seconds to wait 30 minutes.

I noticed this in Pashow last night. 2 mobs came, dropped a bomb each and warped. Literally lasted like 10 seconds ; ;.

Don't worry too much, I did 3800 points in one run in Rolanberry last night too. Pashhow just has a weird boss pop I think with his mad bombers.

Also, rejoice, NPCs hold hate now apparently.

Also I noticed in Bastok I was getting chat log reports saying Bastokan forces return from North Gustaberg victorious, I got this twice in 5 minutes yet there was no campaign battle in Gustaberg :S

The bastokan forces are all using retaliate for gimp movement speed...it takes them longer to get back home!

The real problem here is that they added all of this damn stuff and didn't even bother to add new campaign ranks.

My medal is going to expire because they aren't giving me anything to work with, and I'm not a very happy person over that.

I've just been resetting the timer on mine. I'll have to get the requisite notes again whenever they add the other medals, but that's not all that challenging.

Something is definately up here...
It seems like Rollandberry fields is the only one that is consistantly decent. Was fighting a couple Quad's for about 15 min and killed 3 duo'ing was down to 2% on the fourth, readied weaponskill and got a message that the Allied Forces of Altaina retreated. Idk. It seems like there's a couple errors going on.

I went to Pashow, Campaign started just after I arrived, lasted 5 min, no mobs popped, and ended after only 5 min... Rollandberry takes nearly 4x as long to start as it use to which is maddening.

Idk, I actually liked Campaign, but it's pretty annoying now.

Campaign was pretty buggy when it started out anyway, so I'm not surprised to see a return of at least a few of those issues on a broader scale. The random NPC/mob warp outs and bizarre behaviour never quite went away, but at least they were pretty rare for the last couple months.

Expect an "emergency maintenance" in the next few weeks I reckon.

ok its not as bad as I originally thought, just got a 2200 Battle win. I can live with those numbers. But yeah I wouldn't doubt after an 8 hour maint. something is gonna be buggy and emergency maint. will ensue within the coming weeks.

From my observations, battles are shorter but also happen faster (at least for me they did, but I was also jumping around). It's a bit of a trade off. Mobs seem to now link to NMs even if initially attacking fortification (need to more accurately confirm this behaviour but on several occasions I noticed almost all of the attacking mobs attack the fortifications, and for whatever reason all of them would chase one person before 'deaggroing') and do not immediately return to attacking fortifications and will instead plow through anyone standing in their path. Npcs are now pretty useless, watched Vhino die in under a minute versus Yaa Haqa and Striking Bull went down in 2 minutes versus Staggershell when pre update either NPC should have solo'd the respective NMs.
