If you look closely in EG's original post youll notice he messes up with the possesiveness of the "brother." The "brother" cannot both be "Rich's" brother "Rich's" GF's brother becuase otherwise thats just wrong... not to mention illegal. :roll:

And yeah, Ele, I do agree that it's rather silly to bring personal arguments out into the open like that. But, Eternal insisted on it, and I can't stand idly by when someone bashes a friend by using a blatantly obvious lie.

(Well actually, I can't stand idly by when someone bashes a complete stranger with an obvious lie, but that's beside the point...)

hehe..ya...this thread should be locked still... and unless I was physically present in their life than I could determine a lie or not.. but for now.. either one could still be lying.. I don't know them in my personal life so I'm not gonna bother to get involved... Eternal is a friend in game and been very nice to me in game so I'm gonna continue to be nice to that player... If I knew hecate in game and experienced her personality more than I'd make my decision about her in game and not care if she's completly like that in her personal life cause that has no relevance to me.. that's what I think about it...
 
Lucifar puts on his "nice guy" attitude around people who don't know him also.. and we all know how two-faced and twisted he really is, yet people still fall for his facade.

Lucifar wouldn't come from one side of Vana diel to the other to R3 me even if he's trying to put up an act... hey...even if it is an act in game... it's still better than 75% of the people that are just plain lazy/rude/selfish and make it known to all... even if they are acting.. they still did a good deed through the act.

What makes this thread more special than any other thread in the flameboard? Or is it maybe because EG is a friend? Elemmire, don't pull a cheerleading friend defence. They don't work and as has been seen in many other threads, lesser members who try that get flamed pretty bad. You have a good amount of respect here, don't waste it defending EG when he won't even defend himself.

Svina's post, EG's inconsistencies in his story, and EG's lack of response leads to a pretty solid conclusion of who is lying. I'll even admit though before Svina's post I was tempted to believe EG.

EG went pretty low starting a thread like this to get back at someone he had a personal vendettae against. He deserves all the flames he gets and locking the thread is too generous for a stunt like this.

I would chalk that up for male/female interactions. Males are extra helpful to female chars (much more so if they think/know it's a real female). You might not admit it, but it is there. All guys are quite guilty of this at least one time or another. I'll even admit I do it unconsciously now and then.

Your statement that EG also would go out of his way to help you hints at him being a guy. Males go to some pretty unreasonable/extreme lengths to help a female, which it sounds like EG did for you.
 
I'm not trying to defend EG.. I look at the fact that there could be a possibility of truth in his story.. improbability is not impossibility. I really could care less who's telling the truth though at this point... it's nothing important to me at all because it has nothing to do with me despite EG being a friend in game.. keywords being in game and this doesn't really concern in game matters as much as real life matters... and unless anyone on this forum knows them in real life.. they should stay outta it...that's my thought.. I'd much more prefer to see the flame go on between only EG and Hecate and any other comments made to be like the popcorn ones... that's just my thoughts on the matter... for all ya know.. EG could like making those masks for fun, Svina :\ hahah!! Just trying to point out that there are ALWAYS reasonable arguements to be made about anything... maybe EG has a fetish for those masks X.x

You are right that an argument can be made about anything...however they are not all reasonable.

Nothing will ever be 100% certain. Take court trials for example, you can only examine the material for so long before you have to make a decision and accept the improbable side as wrong. By all means make every attempt to minimize the chances of the impropable, but you have to cut off the examination eventually. The evidence is really stacked against EG right now. Unless he is even willing to respond to the evidence, his guilt of lying is practically a given.

Fine, its not important to you. You've said that in your last ~4 posts. That doesn't mean it lacks importance to everyone. I find it rather important to know the truth when someone attempts to slander another player like this.

Last I checked this whole situation started over in game money. :wink: EG started this thread in an attempt to ruin someone's in game reputation. Yet it turns out that most likely the whole situation is faked and this should go against EG's in game reputation. You are right EG shouldn't have started this, however since he did he deserves everything that comes as a result of it.
 
Elemmire you do have a bad habit of adding your two cents in when it's not necessary... just fyi it's annoying :?

People wanted me to add what I know to the story so I did. That and EG's bullcrap was getting on my nerves.
 
Hahah! thing is... I have the right to add my two cents if I damn well feel like it.. I don't give a damn what you people think about me.. not like it'd change anything anyways.. I'd prolly get the same results outta the game either way.. and if you really want.. I'll throw in my two cents everywhere even though I've been restraining from it.. atleast majority of my two cents are on topic.
 
Considering you joined the forum like only 3-4 months ago and have over 1400 posts already, do you really think there are more places to add your 2cents =P
