This ESP Test has recently taken the world by storm. On June 5th, 2002 the popular UK newspaper the Daily Mirror reported on my web site:
"It's got to be one of the weirdest sites we've ever come across but it's definitely worth visiting. Pop into http:// sprott.physics.wisc.edu/ pickover/ esp.html and you'll be baffled for days - even months. We don't know how he does it but Cliff Pickover, the site's creator, claims he's conducting an ESP test. Click on one of three eyes, he asks, and then look at six playing cards. Without moving your cursor, pick a card, shout out its name and then click on one of six more eyes. It then tells you which card you chose. It claims to be correct 98 per cent of the time but won't tell you how. Every one of the 60 times we tried - and we did everything we could to trick them - they got it right. Spooky!" (page 45)

This ESP Test is now used throughout the world in Psychology and other university classes. As one example, note how it was used as an extra-credit problem in a university "Psychology 101" class:
Pickover's ESP website says it's "psychic." Follow the directions given and see if your mind was read correctly or not. What you will give me is a sentence or two stating whether you would conclude this website is psychic and that it could read your mind. Ten points possible. Due November 27, 2002.

that's easy <.<; I can do that in RL too... Its a common trick XD if those comments are real I just lost all faith in humanity ; ;

... No, I don't think you can. How could you do that over the computer? I did it 5 times and it got my card right every time. The comments said they did it 60 times and it got it right everytime.

Fun stuff, but easy to figure out, though they did get me the first time around. ;)

IF YOU KNOW HOW THIS WORKS, DO NOT POST THE SOLUTION HERE!!!
Let people have some fun with it for a day or two, please.

He did a lot more than remove the card I picked >_>

Yeah, he fools you, it's annoying at first to try to figure out how he does it and then he just tricks you

Is there some tiny person in my computer watching me??? is that how it knows?

wow this is really simple. i've seen this somewhere else a long time ago so this person who made it isn't the 1st to stump people.

oh wow lol. read everyone's thoughts on the site about how they think it works... hillarious!

didnt work for me .... i did say the card name in arabic ...

HAHA It dont take a rocket scientist to figure that out. you can see he does haha and how can he be wrong lol u gotta have a memory or like 1 second lolany how its funny

this is tottaly a rip off. took me but 5 tries to figure the totally right answer to how it works.

i refuse to your refusal of my post.

***SPOILERS ON HOW TO DO IT!!!***

The way this works is they fully change the cards. that means, the two sets of kings in the begining (hearts and spades) are taken out, and the other two (clubs and diamons) are put there. its pretty lame when you think about it, but its a good trick for when your at a party.

Which is y its funny when people claim that their card didnt disappear because it narrows it down to 2 possibilies both of which are not very flattering.

A. Lieing to make themselves feel better on the internet (GJ, lol)
B. Just too stupid to remember their suit

And blaine thanks for posting the solution im sure no one else on the site knew how it was done >.>

Good Job (o.o)b

Now to add my trick to play on people that only truely works on the drunk or retarded. What you need is two dice.

Start by saying that you have amazing mind powers or w/e u want and that you can magnitize the dice. Woooo Creepy

So that they dont think that the dice are actually magnitized ask them to try and get them to stick together themselves.

Once they are convinced that it cannot be done the dice back and play it up doing crazy hocus pocus crap to make em think that you are special. During this take the dice up to your mouth and blow on it like you are trying to make it lucky or w/e. While it is by your mouth touch your tounge to one side of the dice. I typically use the side with one dot cause there is a smaller risk of failure but any side will actually work. Then take the two dice and hold them together (once again i normally do 1 to 1).

Then holding the dice vertically (horizontally doesnt work as well altho sometimes i can get it to work) let go of the one on the bottom. The one on the bottom will stick to the one on the top due to the little bit of saliva that you put on there a few seconds earlier.

Then u seperate them and tell the person to do it themselves again and since the little saliva will dry up (or get wiped off ^^) it will not stick when they try it.

Ive probably made like $200 off drunk people at parties doing this trick. Makes me laugh every time i make money doing this. If ur gonna try this practice it a little bit before u try it for money cause i did actually loose money one night trying this when i didnt quite get enough saliva on the dice.

Haha interesting. I know a group of people that party a lot. Wonder how many of them would fall for it.

Anyway I've seen that card trick before on another site. I took a collection of theries of how people thought it worked and thought I would test it. After I got a general idea, I wrote down all the cards that were displayed. then after your card supposively dissappeared, I wrote down that set too in a list beside the first one and compared it. Sure enough, I found the cards were all swapped out and I found my solution.
