well hell im sure you subbed it for a good 75 exp lvl's give the other subs a chance. :cool:

idk. is there anything that monks can do that they can get away with /war anymore? aside from lvl capped stuff of course. they /whm for kirin to steroid their chi blast. and i see /nin for everything else(probably cause they so used to it from the cannons they merit in).

The reason people say, "exp is exp" is because of the mentality that has completely taken over this game to only invite certain jobs (MNK, NIN, RDM BRD WAR). So for those jobs that have to seek for hours, sometimes DAYS. ANY exp is a good thing for them. Disbanding a party just because it isnt pulling 15 - 20k an hour is just dumb, and it all because of the retardedness that is Aht Urghan. Do to this some jobs are just completely ignored, no matter how long they seek, and its just plain stupid. It use to be where pt invites didnt happen because "JP onry", now its that and the fact if you arent one of the above meantioned jobs its highly unlikely you will get a party. Its now become a double edge sword.

QFT. i love it when i find posts the share my views on ToAU. the "party" i was in an hour or so ago was a good example of this.

No, I've been hearing that shit since I began playing in 2005. It's not because of Aht Urhgan.

Do these people bitching about lack of parties have no friends or something? They can't find ANYone to get some exp with?

yes once upon a time. we were killing things with a standard party but there was so much /nin that the whm was resting 50% of the time. and i could have as well been a refresh/haste bot cause thats all i did. they party was like "zalt if you're bored you can melee if you want." so i said oh why not. least i capped sword. but that was 2 monts or so ago.

parties like the one blaze invited me to at the mamool ja staging point last week are the better ones. it was my first super chain party and i had fun. but every time i get invited to nyzul isle my first impulse is to say no. last nithe there were at least 7 parties there and all camping on top of each other fighting for mob pops. it was the stupidest thing i'd seen in awhile and the party leader kept pushing to stay. the rest of us wanted to disband.

I was told XP is XP yesterday...When I got an invite on my 67 PLD from someone who thought we didn't need refresh. I'll admit we didn't need refresh, but for fuck's sake, just why would you even bother with such a shit setup? XP is XP. There's a big difference between a mid 60s party getting 1-3k/hour and 10k+/hour though. The person that was willing to setup XP with a PLD, and without refresh plays 75 RDM. :/
No names necessary. A stupid idea is a stupid idea. And there are plenty of people coming up with stupid ideas.

I'm content soloing any and all XP versus putting myself in a more frustrating situation by joining a shitty party. But at least I'll say it up front. ;)
