lol, I have seen him a few times when I was little at tournaments, but I never had the opportunity to play him, seems like I will never get that chance considering he retired his last game a few months ago.

I never took a USCF above 1000, but I played a lot afterwards, and once sat a match with a 2198 guy. I was up through the whole opening, then had major tension through the center (rooks on D and E files) on his uncastled king. He was eventually able to play an extremely complex center game, though, and got out of it before I could figure out a way in.

Alas, my schedule mostly keeps me on the Yahoo! blitz circuit these days. But if anyone wants to set up a match by e-mail or on yahoo, let me know!
