There parents don't have shit to do with it. They obviously aren't worried about it, as they use the computer as a baby sitter.

There are many reasons he isn't allowed in.
-No one in the link likes him.
-He begs for handout's all the time.
-He can't control his temper.
-He constantly lies about the most meaningless shit.
-He is too young to contribute to just about any coversation that might grace my Linkshell.

The only thing he really has going for him is the fact that he does know how to type, and he uses proper grammer and sentance structure. Which does say something for his intelligence. Stupid people don't never use double negatives.

Someone in WoW tried to pull this same crap the other day "well, my 7 year old plays this game... people shouldn't cuss in general." O.o wtf kind of logic is this? ... needless to say i made the same point quite a bit more colorfully just for emphasis.

Contrary to popular belief if your kid is soaking up net culture it's your fault as a parent, not the net's fault for existing. Why should anyone feel compelled to concede to the stupidity and parental failings of someone else?

Would you concede an insurance claim to a bad driver who happened to T-bone you based on negligence? I daresay i'd make an example out of the inneptitude...

Don't forget the asshole parents who whined and groaned about females sitting together and that being the reason I'm stuck paying out the ass for Opaline rather than marrying the person I love since we're both female. GG parents fucking over the good stuff and letting their kids run around like terrorists in the real world.
Maybe it's been my experience with two VERY serious parents who brought me up with good sense of judgement/morals/intelligent thought process.. but most the kids I see now days are terrors. They run around screaming and whining and nobody does anything.
I'm not for beating kids and locking them in closets (as tempting as it may be) but a good slap for cursing never killed anyone.
Kids are good at first.... get's old fast.

my parents have a vague idea about what I do in-game, but they have no idea what people say and/or talk about in-game.

What does that have to do with anything? Maybe I wasn't as clear as I could have been.

There are one of three scenarios here. Either his parents have no clue what takes place in game (language, sexual content, etc.) or they know and don't care.
They obviously pay for him to play.

Just because his parents are either apathetic or ignorant about what takes place in the game does not mean that everyone else should say, "Well, his parents are okay with is, so let's all talk about the fist-fucking and fetishes with pigs' assholes and our outrageous crack addictions!"

These type of things are not appropriate for children. I recognize this, as do many other people. Just because his parents are not taking action to prevent him from seeing these things doesn't mean that I shouldn't.

In the end, you do what you think is right. I do not think its right for him to witness those things. I also do not think its right to censor the rest of the linkshell when those members are old enough for mature content. I think booting him was the right thing to do for this reason alone, let alone all the other immature crap he pulled.
