Once your chocobo gets to day 29, then it'll be fully grown and you can then with a chocobo whistle in any area that allows you to ride a choco.

It's a lvl 20 neck piece, 25 charges for every 5 mins. Last night my second fully raised chocobo just turned black Still slow though ; ;

First off that would require selling on in the first place. I'm not going to bad mouth you, its not worth it. Its a video game, you play for fun what you do in the game is your decision. You want to act like a immature child go ahead in the end this is still just a bunch of 0's and 1's that provide a stimulation of excitement to your brain and nothing more then that.

And yeah demon I'm kind of back, I don't trio box anymore or play obsesivly. I just wanted something to do when I'm bored. And remarkably I've started enjoying fishing lol

You can "customize" its stats more efficiently if you're interacting with your bird on a daily basis (takes maybe 5-10 minutes), but the care plans are designed so you can map out a month's worth of activities in advance.

If you're just wanting something you can ride and don't really care about speed, a once-a-week session with your bird should be fine. You probably won't get one that runs as fast as a rental, but that might not be important if you're only wanting to cross a lowbie zone without aggro.

Wait... so colour can still change even after adolescent? I thought the tips of your chocobo on Day 19 defines the colour? I just retired my third Day19 chocobo in a row because of White Tips (I want Red).

I heard that even white feathers can turn to a different color once it grows. My friend had white feathers and got a blue chocobo.

I'm on Chocobo # 2 trying for Red, Blue or Green.

Does anyone know if you can raise another choco to ride after you have already gotten your whistle?

You can only have 1 choco regestered to a whistle, so if you can raise more than one, but u can only have 1 whistle. Thats why there's the option of breeding. My choco's strength is "better than average" and his endurance is "substandard". Anyone have a female chocobo that, once I get his physical traits higher, they wanna breed?

Before the update adding red and green, yes. Afterwards, I think the only other color it can turn out to be outside of it's current path is Yellow.
