Chocobo Green(s)

[Kentaro]

I raised my chocobo a while back to adulthood and its not green... so I'm all sad. I really wanted a green chocobo. I'm trying to find a more definite way of getting a green chocobo.

I was told if I use an egg from both parents who are green, the child will be green. So, anyone with a male or female green chocobo want to help me out? I need one of each.

Thank you.

Theres no definitive way of getting a chocobo of any color, although having parents that are both the color you want helps. There's a guide written my Urat actually on FFXIwiki that's pretty detailed so I'd go look there.

[Stine]

I have a green male and I can give you a card if you wish. Both of his parents were green.

[Zephayra]

I have a green female. Her mother was green and her father was blue. Not sure what her mother's background is, but her father was a blue M x blue F cross. When my green female was bred with another blue male, and the honeymoon card for female traits was chosen, she produced a green. I'm sure Stine and my cards would likely make a green for you.

Some LS friends inbred their red chocobo's about 7 times by mating the red offspring and repeating. Since then the final pair have given red chocobos 100% of the time.

That would be perfect. Thank you very much.

Miruyasha thanks for the link to the guide I read most of it and I plan to follow the guide towards a green chocobo to increase my chances of obtaining a green once.

Zephayra and Stine my in game name is Gyli I'll send both of you a tell whenever were both on at the same time and have a chance. Once again thanks to all three of you.
