Has anyone else tried the new chocobo game? I went to Tahrongi Canyon and used the grass given by the NPC, followed the map marker and started digging (free digs, by the way... no greens required). It took me a few, but I finally found a VCS Chest with a Parasite Worm inside.

It was fun, but I'm curious to see what other "prizes" people may have found.

Which NPC do you get the greens from because I talked to the Choco guy that takes care of your chocobo and he does nothing. Also, how do you do the Kamp Kweh thingy?

I guess the Chocobo update isn't that huge...

Do you know if you can use a retired choco on this I started raising a choco about 10 days ago. If I have to want to try it I will but if I can call my old choco for this that be cool also. If anyone knows please send me a PM or just post it thanks.

It's not too difficult to spot them. Surely you noticed the new NPCs hanging around the chocbo stables? I know the Windurst ones are rather conspicuously placed outside.

the npc in bastok is in the right fenced in area. give you 2 key items and and a rare/ex green

It seems pretty big to me. I took my chick on a short walk and he found something along the way. I used the "watch over" option when we returned to the stables, and he gave me a Flint Stone. Hopefully he'll find better things as his skills improve.

I just wish I could've tried Camp Kweh. I wasn't able to go in because I haven't named my chocobo yet; I want to see what color it'll be first.

1st day: Celerity Salad
2nd day: Celerity Salad

well I guess my choco that keep running away was good for something lol go lucky go ps anyone know that these do. The sell in the AH in sandy for around 150K and in Jueno for 100K to 200K. Trying to figure out if I should sell them or save them or my baby choco to eat when he gets bigger.

They cure all abnormalities on a chocobo. Illness, Lovesickness, Injury, Stomach Ache.

I got a Moorish Idol today... yeah, a fish.

got celerity salad today

also watched over my chocobo and got a myth beast coin

I have a huge word document of all FFXI stuff that I do or things I want to do so there's a lot of things I keep track of. Here's my results for keeping track on the Hot and Cold:

Chocobo Hot and Cold game
December 19th – La theine – Failed
December 20th – Konschtat Highlands – Fresh mugwort
December 21st – Tahrongi Canyon – Mushroom Locust

The first time I didn't realize you had to dig until the treasure popped up, thought once it said you're on top you can get off and somehow get it, which is why I failed..
