boooo, wanted to call mine Chicken Wing... but no Chicken there ; ;

Although I'm sure many COR's are mad that "Pearl" isn't in there :P

Dark Wing being the name.

Destier being the breed, not part of the name.

From what I have found in the .dats, the article they did about breeds was little more than a bit of fiction, all that I can find is baby and adolesent models, and full grown ones with four degrees of customisation (head, body, tail and feet) and all of those exept for tail are 99% colour adjustments.

I assume (not for sure) that they left out alot of other files in the past "big" update.

I figure since they didnt implement Choco breeding/raising, they had some issues with some parts of the files and didnt release them due to being faulty.

Then why still give us all colours/tail types, baby and adolesent models? If there is different types of breed, it will more than likely be the combination of the tail/feet = breed. I am doubting that article was little more than a Vana'diel tribune style thing, and won't really be anything to go by ingame.

For the same reason you can't just type in a name for your Wyvern. Because everyone would be running around with pet creatures like Leeeeeeeroy, RickJamesOMG and Wangmaster.

Yeah, but instead we see 50 billion Rovers and Lady's. And it's not like we don't see names like that anyway, since you can type in your players name.
