Chocobo on the loose!

Has anyone done this quest yet? According to MysteryTour its a new quest; that and Somepage have it listed but Alla doesnt have anything for it, not even an entry. However, on all of these sites, theres nothing else listed about the quest.

Talking to Brutus in Upper Jeuno by the choco stables flagged the quest for me. He started talking about how the Wild Chocobos used to roam the La'Theine Plateau in the old days. One of the chocobos standing nearby overhears what he's talking about and seems to want to leave. Youre then prompted with, "The chocobo seems to want to be free..." and the choices

"Set it free!"

Or...

"Think of Brutus!"

I chose to set it free, then Brutus said he wanted me to go get it back. He said that it headed in the direction of the La'Theine Plateau, and that no wild chocobos existed anymore. I tried to talk to him again for more information, but he started talking about the guy who abused the chocobo before, "one day he'll be back for his choco." etc etc.

I spent about an hour or so searching the La'Theine for any new ???'s or !'s or anything out of the ordinary but I found nothing. I'm probably looking in the wrong place. But any information about this quest would be most appreciated.
 
Tried going to Dietmunds house in lower jeuno where you went for the BST quest?

Alexander server, i tried starting the other quest with Brutus but he just keeps saying "goodluck with finding that chocobo..." but i got it (in the early hours of this norning) for anyone else doing this quest you need to goto La Theine Plateau and at the corners North West of grid E5 and South East of grid D4 right next to theWall/Hill (your at the bottom of it) there's some chocobo tracks select these and you'll get a cut scene, not sure what to do next as you don't actually catch the chocobo but gonna head back to Jeuno and see if thats it, my home point is jeuno so if i die on the way don't matter (apart from a few XP...)

Right on, Moriki. Yea I tried talking to the dude for the BST quest but all he did was thank me for saving his son again. Found out like, way more than I did lol. Thank you man. Saved me some trouble!
 
also the egg is one of the ones you can buy from the girl so unless you dont have 1040g or REALLY need jeuno fame i dont see this quest being worth it.
 
I got the quest on accident lol. But then again, I <3 doing quests. I try and do as many as I can.
