So this video has blown up massively within the past few weeks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA

The song, while lame and extremely repetitive, is actually very catchy. I found myself singing it while at the gym earlier. The parodies that have been posted are usually hit and miss, though some are pretty hilarious. Namely, John Mayer singing the song to a homemade beat of "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr42ZXpmwH0

Other noteworthy videos:
Tay Zonday McDonald's spot
The whole segment of Chocolate Rain on Best Week Ever
Chocolate Rain 8bit Remix
Chocolate Rain Lil' Jon remix

in before people tell ya its been posted before even tho you added a bunch of other links

(Edit: If you actually really listen to his lyrics, i think the song is about pollution)

I thought it would've been racism, or something along those lines. I know he got airtime on Attack of the Show on G4, but kept dodging the question of what the song was really about.

EDIT: Vanilla Snow = Win

On Opie & Anthony he said he doesn't really know what it's about. But "Every February washed away" is a black history month reference.

Comedian Rich Vos made another great observation.

"Chocolate Rain
History quickly crashing through your veins
Chocolate Rain
Using you to fall back down again"

He said that lyric is about brown heroin. A lot of things make sense, but even Tay admits that it's cheesy.
