[oraga]

Im having trouble getting letters (in sandy) I talk to all the kids i know of in south sandy and port and none have given me a letter?!?! am i doing somthing wrong? ( yes i have talked to moogle)

I'm actually thinking of being crazy enough to get the other two trees, and the Dream Hat +1, even though I have no use for Ginger Cookies with my main job.

I tell myself and others that I'm not going to go for all of it and... I do anyway.

I got my Dream Hat +1 yesterday! I used it and it gave me 8 ginger cookies so it doesn't give only 1 cookie like a lot of people think.

Does anyone know what the effects of ginger cookies are? I think they used to be MP+10 but the update changed a lot of the meal effects.

I believe they help regain more mp when resting.

They don't last very long, only help MP gain, stack to 99 and sell for cheap... worthless.

But the thought of pulling cookies out of a strange hat that someone smuggled into your mog-house via a miniature christmas tree is too good to pass up.

Ok, Dream Hat +1: hand out presents to the kids to raise your joy rating (you can check what it is by talking to the quest starter Moogle). You can either buy presents from the Smilebringer or use the ones he gives out for free--he'll give you one per day. The rare/ex present raises joy more than the bought ones. Talk to your MH Moogle after doing this--he'll tell you he found a special present under the tree. Use the item, it looks like an airborne firework, then check your inventory.

+1 hat makes cookies.

How many presents did it take to get the hat?

I think I turned in 4 or 5 of the rare/ex presents. But I'm not sure what my 'joy' rating was up to before I started (don't know if I had teleported recently or not).
