So this brainwashed ignorant woman and her Code Stink cronies decide to go to a military base and protest the use of Drones.... Yeah better we send in the soldiers to get shot at after all.

If your soooooo again Drones killing "innocent people", instead of going to military bases to scream at old vets and spew your garbage which no one whose SANE gives a rats ass about why don't you stand on the White House front loan and ask Obama, if he's not too busy shooting hoops, to order all the Drones to be turned off? He's the one with the fucking authority to do it not the military police who keep telling you to go away.


FYI: Fucking hilarious they gave you a ticket for holding up traffic. You KNOW that cop savored every second of writing that ticket out. I hope he gave you the biggest fine he could.

basically i equate these types to the same ones that were spitting on Vietnam vets returning home from Vietnam. They'll say they love and respect the troops, but they don't , they PITY them, they think they are there because they are all poor fools who were brainwashed or coerced into joining the military.

I put these ppl right along side those "Westboro baptist church" nutjobs, i say the cops should turn their back for 5 mins and let the crowd take care of things.

edit:: on a sidenote, i wonder how much money she's made off this stuff, if shes using this and her sons death as a ticket to fame and fortune, shes even more a piece of trash.

granted for all i know she COULD be doing all her shit non profit, but somehow given her character I HIGHLY doubt that's the case. I know she has books out.

I hate to agree with you on this Tom, but yeah, it's sad her son died in the war, it's sad that many more like him, have died as well, but do you see all of those dead soldier's family's tarnishing their memory this way? HELL NO. I'm also against the war, I'm against all the bullshit the GOP put this country in while they were in power. But you are going too far in protesting the use of drones that help spare soldiers lives from being put at risk.

Oh I know that as well, but as much as I hate to admit it, pulling all troops out of the middle east is simply impractical. Them people are unable to secure their own damn countries even with out help, now imagine us not being there.

Dems and GOP'ers are similar in many respects, which is why I take what I like from each side and hope to God there's a politician out there that sees it that way (fat chance in hell, but hey I can hope).

You can't really blame the GOP as the majority of the problem, imo. Also, before I get started, don't think I'm tryin' to stick up for them and say everything they did was proper either. I'm also of the belief that this country will forever be stuck in a rut until people learn good things come from both sides and that is how we need to be governed. I think it also important to note that I'm leaving Europe and their bouts with terrorism out of this assessment.

I feel, after 9/11, America as a whole wanted the war. As Obama stated in his recent address to us, we, as a country, were united at the front of it. I feel that no matter which party had power at the time, based off his speech and general feeling at the time of the decision to go to war, we'd have seeked our revenge. That is the problem with this war, it was born from revenge. Nothing good comes from revenge, at least not properly. Bad decisions are made to make things swift and painful, it's not the way America is suppose to act. Unfortunately the GOP made a some bad decisions during the process of it all and we are where we are today. However, who is to say that the Democratic Party would not have pulled the same punches? I'd like to think they'd have been more rational, but when people are seeking revenge things have already gotten out of hand. I think we need to stop blaming and just fix it. This war is necessary now, even if it wasn't then (which I believe it was, but could have been handled better) and that is the price we are paying for seeking revenge, among other things.

Simply put, no matter which party started the war, since it was based on revenge, I feel it wouldn't have been handled properly and we'd have problems none the less, but more Democratic problems than GOP associated problems.
 
all true, but as you don't know what would have happened had we not gone to war ethier, for all we know we could've had another big attack. Some might call this scare mongering, but it's not. It's simply stating that noone here knows what would have happend had things not gone the way they did. Noone.
(we know for a fact we caught and stopped plenty of attempts because of our heightened state of security)

Personally I'm of the opinion when the country is attacked in such a way it's reasonable to react to this and seekout those responsible. Al-quada may not be our typical enemy, with a country to identify with, and a standing army and government, But they proved on 9/11 that this doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing alot of damage. We can't just ignore it when a group of people kills 3000 Americans, I'm sure thats not what you're saying, but its perfectly reasonable we went over there to kick some terrorist ass.

Granted BOTH wars were badly mismanaged, and I'm certainly not saying we made all the right choices, but i think our country made the right decision for the time.

and remember this wasn't some cowboy going alone like the libs would have you believe, BEFORE the wars became unpopular we went in there with support from plenty other countries. AND with the support of most the democratic party (everyone seems to forget this shit)
the gop didnt go this shit alone, the gop was just the only one with enough balls to realize you don't go into a country, destroy its government and take its leaders, and then turn around and leave the country to rot in anarchy because all of a sudden you realize, war is hard.


Notice:: im not trying to start a debate on whether or not we should have gone into iraq, that things been beaten to fuckin death and beyond. I'm simply stating bush and the gop didn't do all this alone.

Not saying one side is completely at fault, but from what I have seen, Bush (and his team of cronies) did one hell of a job of lying to the American public. Would things have been different with a Dem as president? Probably not, since as stated by Lucki, the American public WAS out for blood after the 9/11 attacks.

My only complaint with the Iraq War was the fact that Bush Senior didn't finish the job the first time around.

Other than that, fuck Sadam he had so many violations with the UN security counsel we had every right to do what those pussies in the UN wouldn't.

If bush lied then so did the FBI, CIA, Hillary Clinton, MI 6, and the intelligence agencies of plenty of other countries all coming to the conclusion that Saddam most likely had WMD's

I single out Hilliary because according to her at the time, SHE had sources that went "above and beyond" bush's sources.

Let's not kid ourselves, please. The only reason Bush got into an ivy league school was because of Bush Sr. and Mr. Ben Franklin. Even I'll admit he's clearly an idiot although he meant well.

Ivy League Schools are also notorious for NOT flunking people unless they outright don't show up to take the exams. They have a snotty reputation to maintain afterall. Can't let slackers bring their overall student GPA's down.

Obama also had absolutely no business being the head of the Harvard Law Review but let's not go down that road........ I think we already know the answer to why that happened.
