And yeah we did cannon. SAM SAM DRG WAR PLD BLM. The pld probably coulda come as another DD and it would have went smoother. It all worked out though, we even did one run w/out the PLD when he d/ced and it went okay.

There must be a way to fit NIN into ODS.

I've done ODS on NIN several times, once with another NIN and 4 THF's and another time with 5 other NIN's. Just grab a scorpion each and keep them out of the way of each other and solo them. I think BRD's lullaby is irresitble but loses 5 seconds each time you use it, so eventually it just wears off straight away.

ODS is really easy. The last two times I did it just had three good DD (talking war/nin and mnk/nin types) and a rdm/blm that kept the other three scorps asleep till we each finished soloing one then we soloed another one. I'm sure a nin could come but they would solo pretty slow. Of course if you have more than 4 people it wouldn't really matter.

Anymore if I do it with some friends we do it with four. Arylias (BRD) Saire (RDM) Myself (Usually NIN) and Ikari (MNK or NIN). Goes just fine.

Your average cannon pt can easily do ODS.
And if you get a good group you'll do it atleast as fast as a mana burn.
Or ask a skilled blm friend to solo it for ya.

A nin kills one as fast as a war or mnk, unless you're still wearing your SH, OH, Elusive earrings and god knows what...

Trust me. Cannoning this with those and I was absolutely wrecking scorpions. Downing them in a fraction of the time it took even Blue Mages to kill them.
