It's a monthly release... if you had bothered to look at the previous release dates. <.<

But ya, should be coming out in a few days.

Feh just one chapter a month? That bites I was wondering why the discussion for this manga was shorter than the mainstream besides the fact that it's shorter atm

Get caught up bitches!

Wow... I definitely did not see that coming. At first the chapter seemed like it might be a bad translation, but the end brought it all together. Could be fun.

Thoughts?

I liked it a lot...almost makes up for the time it took to be released

Miria is a smart one lol, makes you wonder the organizations purpose really...

It has to be more than profit, but what makes even less sense is that they use the mainforce to "protect" the homeland instead of the other country at war....

I thought the organization's purpose became pretty clear in 79, just released a short while ago >.>

To answer Khi's question...

My guess is the awakened beings are supposed to be used in the war, but they couldn't be controlled so they're using the 'main' force to clean up and make a tidy profit in the process. At the same time they're experimenting on a way to control the awakened state, thus Alicia and Beth. However, the test didn't seem to turn out very well...

Well, Alicia and Beth seems to be working out pretty well. However, unless they have something else under their sleeves, I dont think they'd be able to take on Eisley and Riflu(or whatever her name was).

actually when I said main force i meant the claymores, especially the rebellious ones who should be awakened...it'd make more sense to dump them onto other territory and keep the loyal ones at home

alicia and beth are unstable especially beth since it mostly depends on her being able to hold alicia's soul

Well... they work a hell of a lot better than Luciola and Rafaela. lol

Well, they mentioned after the 7 years that both Alicia and Beth were inactive, so I'm guessing something went wrong.

I say that the Awakened beings are the true 'main force' that they're trying to create, since it's obvious that they're a hell of a lot stronger than most of the claymores. Especially the abyssal ones. The claymore main force ain't nothing but a cleanup crew in my opinion, cannon fodder in the attempts to create controllable awakened.

is a great series but they take long freaking long time to release i guess
the author must think long to make up some bad ass story....

It was originally a weekly released on Shonen Jump, but then they took a break and brought it back on a monthly release. /sigh

And the Claymores are not so much "clean up crew" as they are the beginnings of the experiment. So, you obviously need them to get to higher levels of the tests. (ie no Awakened Beings without first being Claymores)

What I'm wondering, is why they never approached the Abyssal Ones. All the Awakened Beings have that need to eat flesh, but the AO seem to have a better control. I'm surprised they never tried to use the Abyssal Ones love of power to send them over and fight in the main war. (Promises of land, etc and then dispose after theyre done)

because they can think too much, and the organization hates people who can think

like the claymores sacrificed in the northern war, as a stalling

they didn't like alicia because she was open about her thoughts and were quick to raise the next no.1

You mean Teresa?

i meant alicia's comments twoards the organization

in case i said the wrong name i meant the siblings no. 1 and 2 before the northern war, teresa yes after her epiphany expressed her thoughts as well

Oh, I think you mean Rafaela. Luciola and her were number 1 and 2 before the war, and they were the sisters who originally failed at the controlled awakening. (With Luciola becoming an Abyssal One)

nah, luciola was killed by rafaela eventually after fighting isley. but they failed because they weren't fraternal

i mean the fraternal sisters Alicia and Beth. Alicia would awaken and fight the monsters while Beth would hold her soul and force Alicia back to normal

Yea I know, lol. I'm just wondering who you meant was open with her thoughts. By that I assume you mean they know more than they should and aren't afraid to voice dissent. You said Alicia, but it wasn't her... because she has no thoughts. She has no ability to think outside of fighting Yoma.
