Clean up the Flameboards.

I don't know if you guys realize, but I'm sure you most likely do; however, the majority of time the threads in the flameboards and other places get derailed ALOT.

I'm all for fun and games and poking fun, but only when its on the subject matter.

It gets REALLY out of hand sometimes. A one sided conversation between two people that is off topic should NOT be posted in a thread. There is PMs for that. If it's on topic then fine. All the little cute jokes between the same 5 people that constantly post shit off topic is rather annoying. You know who you are.

There's a reason for the other sections of QCDN.

I suggest to clean flameboards and only keep the posts that are on subject. Locking threads after the point is done, or the debate is over is also helpful as people like to postcount in threads that have been over for along time.

I don't know, maybe I'm just PMSin', but it would be a nice thing to see.

Except of course the personal kicks. People wanted an unmoderated FB, there it is.

Because the flameboard and endgame are the only parts of the forum. The flameboard gets derailed because there aren't any good flames to be had.
 
All my posts in the FB are on topic. Some more so then others. If a thread is retarded, then I post something retarded. If a thread isn't retarded, then I post something that isn't retarded.

tl;dr: I work with what's given me.
 
What do you know. More requests to overworked admins for things that can be easily fixed. Sounds like someone i know, did someone hack Kronos account?

I find some derails annoying, but most are well worth the effort and often times are pretty creative.
