Cloverfield does look like an interesting movie.
 
im going to be dissapointed if they kept up all this secrecy and hype for this movie and i :facepalm: cause its a letdown

:O The State Puff Marshmellow Man! In the theater when I saw that trailer on the big screen, they show its shadow against a few buildings. It looked like a big friggin bear >_>;

Sorry I didn't have the right program, but I did a little looky looky at the trailer. Here's what I got.

If it was to the scale of Whalezilla, well, I think it woulda been able to throw the head of liberty alot further than it did.

Well he might have terrible aim, it may have ended up richotetting off a few large buildings or so. Plus, who's to say he lobbed it from that far? Maybe he kinda just threw it over his shoulder and took rather to munching on cabbies?

I do agree though, if the scale is correct, they either toned it down in size or there is a lot more missing of the Statue of Liberty than just her head. Look at the mitts on that thing.

Yeah, it's just the posters all show the head missing and the trailer shows it hurtling down the streets covered in claw marks, now, with that scale, it'd have to be very delicatly picking it off, like you trying to pick up a pea with just your finger nails.

The scale was what lead me to believe it was false more than other aspects. I want a giant turtle myself, but Gamera has that covered :<
