So I finally dinged 70 *damn you, fast static party* and my BLM sub kinda got a little underlevelled. So I set off to level it.

Cut to Garlaige Citadel.

Cobion, 35PLD, and Mudoshaddo, 34DRK, are both in the party.
They're acting immature and using a bunch of annoying emotes from the start (which have since scrolled out of my log), but it's nothing too bad, so I just let it slide.

Something happens with SATA, Mr. Rank 4 Mentor Cobion promptly goes off on the THF. The party get him to stop, and we continue. The EXP isn't bad really, we're chaining, no complaints, except Cobion has a <call> in his macro. After he spams it a bit because of the recast timer, I ask him politely ("I'm sorry, could you please take that call out [of your provoke macro]?"), and he proceeds to spam call at me.

Fine, I figure, whatever, he doesn't want to listen.

I politely let the party know I'll be leaving soon, nothing seems wrong...
Cobion and Mudoshaddo ding, we congratulate them, and pull another bat... and then they leave, in the middle of the pull.

Yeah. Whatever.
Maybe I'm just irritable after some stuff that happened yesterday (Teleport-Vahzl gogo), but this shit is annoying.

It's garlaige, yeah yeah. It's still annoying. Okay, rant over.
 
I said it once I will say it again, mentor flag = I suck at life flag.
 
Yeah dire and I had the same situation in Garliage with a mentor flag just the other day. :x
 
I think we should all put up our mentor flags.. >.>

Which I have yet to bother to even do..Get the mentor status..

I take offense -_- I have my Mentor flag on, And the reason I do is because I DO help peoeple, and n00bs alike yes they are different, >_> but i help em when i can and i like to help...So because I have that damn flag on doesnt mean I suck at life ... meanie
 
I don't put that flag up, unless my party's goofing off and we all put it up in Valkurm Dunes or something, and the newbies are like "zOMG! It's a team from Square-Enix!" They're fun like that, you should try it sometime. ^_^-b

I took down my mentor flag because I was never getting asked questions. In the 5 months before I decided to just take it off, I got asked 2 things. During that time, I went through the dunes and qufim twice, so there were plently of newbs around. It just didn't seem like it was worth having on, and then came the people who have it on now.

Most of the people who still have theirs on are idiots who shouldn't be handing out advice in the first place. Lots of people who have mentor status don't want to be associated with these morons and don't bother putting it on.

I'll watch out for these guys if I'm around their level again.

You may not be talkin about me...but some people like to help ; ; and I do know an extensive ammount of the game enough to help people out a little bit, and besides...I like the Shiny "M" next to my name :P

I like to help, but I was just never given the chance to. If I'd get more than 1 question a month, I'd prolly put my mentor flag back up.
