yeah its horrible for you, all the stuff they put into drinks like coke and pepsi.

Guys should check this out.
some facts about coke from http://inspiredliving.com/health/a~coke.htm

In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident. (Unproven, however, it is reasonable to assume that it's true since phosphoric acid can dissolve rust and grease and was used by the steel industry to clean products.)

.To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. (Source: www.howtocleananything.com, the popular household hint guru Mary Ellen says some coke in the toilet for an hour can do the trick.)

The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days (Unproven). Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis (Source: UC Davis Health System).

To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials. (Source: Truth or Fiction web site - "My husband and I drive the big rigs and often carried Pepsi products...and it is true of all soda in the concentrated form...YES we did have to put the hazardous placards up for the load. Also the driver has to have passed the hazardous material test and have that on his CDL's (Commercial Driver's License)"

I for one believe that the phosphoric acid is nothing to worry about, the sugar in coke and pepsi, any softdrink really is by far more damaging.

I do enjoy a Diet Coke with Lemon every now and then, other than that I am an avid coffee drinker and god knows that stuff is acidic ...., where's my Asacol ...

I admit... Diet Doc Pep is pretty damn awesome^^ But I am a big fan of Diet President's choice cola or Diet Sam's Choice

COCA COLA ROCKS. I'll take my battery acid tasting elixir over pepsi anyday. muwahahahaha. But I am also a Iced Tea fan. I usually down 6-9 of them when I am at a Chili's or some arbitrary diner. Pepsi is too sweet in my taste.

Poll is tied at 10-10. who will be #1 :!:

Dr. Pepper. Just regular... none of that yucky diet stuff. But if I had to choose between Pepsi & Coke I would pick Pepsi.

Pepsi please, i HATE coke, it gives me a sticky fealing on my teeth, and makes me sick if i drink it warm.

Heh, I've swung the tide back to Coke again :P

Given a choice between the 2, I'm a loyal Coca Cola fan. I rarely drink it though, because all that sugar really isn't good for you, and I also have to watch my caffiene intake. Couple that with the fact that I'm trying (unsuccessfully, thus far) to encourage my husband to eat healthier, we don't stock any carbonated drinks in our fridge at home. So I'll have coke every now and then when we eat out somewhere, but at home it's all Koolaid baby, lol. I find that acceptable because I get the add your own sugar kind, and make sure I add only about 1/2 to 2/3 the amount the package calls for. ;)

But back to the question at hand, it's not that I hate Pepsi, it's just I prefer the flavor of Coke. I also think that Coke goes better in a lot of mixed drinks than Pepsi does- ever have an Amaretto and Pepsi? GUH! That'll rot your teeth if nothing will . . .
