Comcast Internet.

Has anyone else have trouble with them? I'm in the Baltimore area and I DC atleast once a day... The pass few nights, they've been having problems with their naming servers but I think they've gotten that fixed.

Just really annoying when you can't stay connected for a party more than 2 hours without losing a connect then waiting 10 mins or more for it to come back on. I've thought about switching services, DSL is out of the question, Verison just sucks plain and simple. Paying $500 a month for a T1 line isn't something I would like to do neither, but if this keep up, I might have to result to that.

I use Comcast too, and we used to have problems..like we would loose connection once a week and had to have the guy come out and fix it.

We got a new modom/box thingy and it's been better I guess.

Yep, comcast's service is nice and all, but they have way too many 'technical difficulties' in a given week.

Yeah, when I browse the webpage would take a few mins to load. It hasn't acted up on me since last week.

just from being around the internet, a lot of online gamers have problems with comcast, so i don't just think its you. But cable is better than dsl in a lot of ways, so i'd say stick w/ the temporary d/c.

Actuly..I don't get d/c on FFXI with Comcast. Maybe cause I wake up to find the internet working on my laptop..which means only 1 thing :wink:

Comcast is cable? If it is and its anything like our cable here I'd say it's pretty normal. Cable has lots of peaks and droops sometimes knocking you off the internet. Has alot to do with your neighbors and what thier doing at the time.
