Well... After going away for a long time... And deleting this account... I am thinking of coming back.

Alas I would have to start from square one again...

Fun.

But truely after playing many other MMOs I have found this is the one I enjoyed most for some reason.

So in order to decide what to play I must ask a few questions.

1) Does NIN tank anything endgame outside of Merit PTs?
2) Due to the 2 handed updates (this was awhile ago) how many SAMs and DRGs are around? How do they compare to MNK and BLU damage wise?
3) Considering I would need to once again progress through all the story line, which of the above mentioned jobs would you say I should go with? (NIN, SAM, DRG, MNK, or BLU) Please remember I know I enjoy all the listed jobs, and for an initial main I would want to pick one of them. Choosing a 2nd job to level to 75 would come later.

I still may not return. It could just be the fond memories of the past that I miss. I will have to see how I feel by the end of the week. Still I would greatly appriciate some opinions/thoughts.

1) NIN can tank almost anything (but you will need a /drk sub and SE has been constantly buffing pld to the point where pld is a safer bet)

2)SAM are everywhere. as for damage comparisons.. uh.. Sam are a bit over the top but not impossible to defeat. BLu isn't a good thing to compare damage to since it's damage is based upon it's mp. as such BLU tends to only work in a pt setup if it's an all blu pt imo. They spend so much time soloing for their spells that you wont see them exping/lfp much anyway pre 75.

3) checked the return to vanadiel thing? they probably still have your data lying around perhaps. Otherwise just screw around with all of em and take whatever you endup liking the best.

TY. Started leveling tonight. Only hit 6 before i logged and worked on improving my graphics some.

Still doesn't look as nice as I would like it to though.

Anywho... I'll be around if anyone wants to /t me at all. GF says she might join and play too once her semester finals are over 8D

On another note, I'll have to change my name since I am no longer a Mithra. >_<

Sure enough I am back, and with a new name. I decided to make a QCDN name to match it... so here it is.

(This is SomeMithra btw if someone reading this didn't follow xD)

Welcome back :) I hope you enjoy your stay with FFXI and with QCDN.

Welcome back, and good luck to your nin/drk tanking adventures
