Coming Back

Well that got needlessly out of hand lol. What's done is done, I made a mistake and feel a little silly over it all but if anything i'll probably just look back on this and laugh. Nothing to get worked up over here Mei since Myrrh's joke didn't exactly bother me. I smiled if anything lol. And to be honest I had my eye on a pearl from RetardsRUs linkshell instead so i'll gratefully decline your kind offer...
 
Auro! I miss you!!!

I totally feel for you with coming back to FFXI. I missed it tons and when I came back I felt so behind and the graphics looked really dated. I played for about 3 days then got into a party on my bard grinding birds and remembered why I quit the first time around XD

I just reactivated my FF14 account and am enjoying the changes so far. The game is moving in the right direction.
 
o.O, is it terrible that i've been thinking about coming back too? And that I pretty much know/knew everyone else posting in this thread? (I feel old x.x)

BACK IN MY DAY, WE HAD TO SPEND 3 DAYS KILLING CRAWLERS TO GAIN A LEVEL. DEM KIDS HAVE IT EASY NOWADAYS (do people still level up in Crawlers nest?)
 
:o I happened to be writing an essay and got bored so I looked at this site and saw you had a post about going back to FFXI Auro! Not sure if you'll read this now as it seems it was a few months since you last posted, but if you do then how are you doing (and anyone else who may remember me!)? Its been a long time!

I'm doing well and all, hope you are too? It has been a long while huh? (3 years+? since I last spoke to you) As you can see I made a failed attempt to get back into the game that lasted no longer than a day lol. I think what happened was that I had some crazy moment when I was bored on a Sunday and decided "what the hell, let's try FFXI again" so I reinstalled the game (oh god the wait...) logged in, and managed to contact a few old faces who I remembered (Khali and Bigherb if I recall). The plan was to get back in to the swing of things with a new ls pearl but then I finally realised the enormity of the task at hand after being in the game again for only a couple of hours. After all, my character while still intact since December 2008 was 3 years behind the times and required a total overhaul. This was more than I anticipated and I guess I just didn't fancy the challenge in the end. So yeah, I tucked my tail between my legs and walked away ...again XD

I think it was due to the fact that I couldn't offer the game as much time as I did before since my situation has changed. I moved out of my parents home and am now living in my own place, got a different job plus i'm 27 and not getting any younger so need to give the real world a bit more attention hehe. I still get the urge to play again but I have to restrain myself so I don't do what I did a few months ago again (biggest waste of £8.99 I have made for a while lol). When I think about it, I guess I missed the community more than the game itself and without people like you, Bjornar, Meikolia, Reya (well all of Perseverance actually) in the game now then there isn't anything for me to want to go back to.

Anyway, it's great to see you still remember us after all these years, and I sure havn't forgotten you and how you helped me in the past through the various linkshells we shared.
