Command and Conquer Red alert 3!!!!!

ooo I saw this too :D I can't wait for it :3 I loved Red Alert and Red Alert 2

Red Alert 2 is one of my most favorite games. I still play it to this day, except I lost the Allies disc, so I can only play as the Soviets lol No matter how much I play it, making like 100 of the blimps and sending them SLOOOOOOOOOOWLY across the map to take out a base is very fun :D
 
technically, Red Alert 2 I have isn't mine :P but my friend hasn't cared and stopped playing games so... yay :P I still play through the story now and then. I'd love to play C&C, C&C Red Alert again (the originals) but they don't load on XP :( at least I can't get them to work. And too lazy to bother trying, hehe

im pretty sure it has something to do with dos..and im also pretty sure there is a very simple way to do it

i liked red alert...but my dad would whoop my ass..every...single...time..bad..i think i recall him being in the top 100 ranks on ra2

Dude, your dad kicks ass then.

Man I loved RA, own the original disks too, plus one of the expansions. RA2 I have as images on my medium-size hard drive, don't play it often anymore.

RA3 though...mmmmm. The trailer from Gametrailers.com was freaking sweet, and I totally cannot wait for this to come out. eeeee.

yeah, he was very good..kind of lost his drive to play a bit though ..more casual now..both of us will probley buy ra3 though. im pretty excited about this game
 
I've always loved the Red Alert games. Quite honestly, I haven't really enjoyed the new "Tiberium Wars" etc. though, so I hope they go back more to the original style with Red Alert 3. I loved Red Alert 1 and 2.

That means no lame aliens etc.

The aliens have always been involved in C&C, just that 3 was the first time they actually showed up.

Anyway, I have absolutely no hope for Red Alert 3 after EA's other entries into the series since they've completely taken over. C&C: Generals was a generic RTS game that attempted to use the Command & Conquer name for attention, and C&C3: Hey, Look, it's Kane!, while a step in the right direction and more traditional, just lacked the same soul of the older games. Oh, and no more Frank Klepacki...

EA is truly the greatest curse to befall gaming...
 
Yes, I know they existed. But actually introducing them that openly by being a playable race was a mistake imo.

And yes, I agree. The later games lacked the souls of the older games. It isn't that I grew tired of the game play, as I can still play Red Alert 1 and 2 a lot without getting tired of them. The newer games I could entertain myself with a couple of days at the most, then I'd simply grow tired of them.

the Warcraft, Starcraft, Empire Earth etc. games are pretty much the same, but yet, I find them more entertaining then the new Command and Conquer games. Simply because there is something they lack.
 
C&C Renegade is still my all time favorite FPS game. Mostly cause it's FPS/RTS online. The only down side is that things are kinda laggy/whatnot online. But the concept is awesome and I still haven't seen a game yet that's FPS/RTS and I want that :3

Ele, a mod for the orignal half life - NATURAL SELECTION - fucking awesome RTS/FPS you have a team of players and a thing called a command chair whereo ne gets in and actualy puts shit down to build, your marines go out to build it and fight off aliens (other people play as the aliens and have builders too) pretty l337 game not gonna elaborate it any more ill confuse you
