I've done some reading about ialmrnt5 and came accross this
Description:
$um$id has discovered a vulnerability in Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is cause due to an error in the "ialmrnt5" display driver when handing overly long text in a textfield. This can potentially be exploited to cause a DoS e.g. by tricking a user to open a window to an overly long URL with the browser.
Successful exploitation may cause the system to restart or cause the system to revert to a low resolution display mode.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 6.14.10.4308. Other versions may also be affected.
I've noticed alot of people who wrote about their trouble with ialmrnt5 are trying to fix it as opposed to replacing it. But ialmrnt5 really seems sucks balls because when you google it, every page is filled with nothing but dispair for the driver as opposed to people saying how good it is, like when we look up other drivers and software. I'd definatly take it out and put in a new driver. If you want to do this i'd be happy to tell you how, you don't just install a new driver, it will add conflict, surprisingly the multiple drivers are listed if someone does that.
I've also read how Norton Antivirus does not agree with ialmrnt5. Can it be ialmrnt is a poorly constructed trojan horse with graphic driver capabilities in attempt to fly under the radar ? Whatever the case it seems to be very problematic and it's best to take it out.
If you really want to get to the bottom of it and rather keep the driver, then i would suggest stoping everything from start up, just leave you're java on start up, and you'll most likely discover whatever it is that's eatting up you're drivers resource is doing it no longer, and it will be one of those you shut down from start up.
Start: Run
type in: msconfig
in the window go to the start up tab at the very end.
remove the check marks from the desired software, for the sake of testing take all of them out, click apply then you'll be prompted to restart the machine.
One of these programs may be causing ialmrnt to fail. After you restart the PC and "if" the problem returns, then it's ialmrnt5 itself that's gotta go.
