ok, so, i'm gonna be commin off my break from the game things have settled down round here and i can relax a bit and start playing again

heres my issue, i hate playing on ps2, no windower benefits, and it takes up my spare rj45 that i can use for my ps3 and it takes up my tv (which when theres nothing goin on can be mind numbingly boring) so i wanna get a new computer, i don't wanna overdue it cause the only game ill probably play on it is FFXI, dell cant really seem to differentiate the two since they're xps 210 system doesn't have a graphics card available that is good enough and they're xps 420 system is just too beefy for what i actually need it for. so here's my question...i make about $150 a week at my part time job, the only thing i really pay for monthly is FFXI and gamefly which is about $40 a month give or take, i'm in desperate need of a new computer anyway, i've had this junker since 2005, i cant even run that new pirates of the carribean MMO without my computer crashing >.> so i could benefit both ways, should i save for a new computer? and if so is there something else out there that fits my needs better? i really dont wanna spend upwards of 1500 for an overpowered computer that i really dont need all that juice for

thanks in advance <3

Are you looking to buy like a prebuilt name brand computer, or are you looking to build your own from scratch?

like i said i dont wanna overdue anything so building my own could work, but then again i dont wanna spend an absurd amount for it just for FFXI

premade is an option as well as building my own

You have to figure out how much you want to spend. That determines the hardware you can buy... because you can always spend "a little more" and get something even better, no matter what it is you buy.

I would say look for prebuilt. Anything less than $500 and you're going to get a better deal from a prebuilt.
