Computer shop sign "We remove Vista"

Honestly Vista was nothing but a pain in my ...

Recently bought a new laptop, got top of the line 'gaming' laptop looking forward to running some of my new games etc on it. Well of course the only thing avalible was Vista. After going through and having to patch nearly everything just to work with Vista, we still had problems with everything. It caused our computer to continuously 'crash dump' among other problems.

Needless to say we tried and tried, then returned the damn thing! Custom ordered a new laptop with XP and now... we all lived happily ever after. lol

Vista is evil.

LOL that's great!! I love it! and so true :P Vista is shitty.

I might mess with Vista on a separate partition after the first service pack comes out. I don't trust MS OSs before service packs.

WHat I dont get is any retard can sit there and see that Vista is crap but MS was perfectly happy to release it. I wish that shop was close to me, I would dump Vista

The funny thing about Vista is that everyone rushed out to buy it regardless of its shittiness. When the first reports about it's faults came out, most of what one person would hear was "well I don't have any problems with it"...

A year passes...

everyone wants to get rid of Vista.

This tarutaru manned up and installed Ubuntu effectively upon receiving his laptop from Dell. Granted, I still keep Vista on it for the rare (and I mean rare occasion) that I need to do something in Windows. However, I haven't logged into the Vista side in about 3 months now...

I really haven't had any problems with Vista on my notebook yet besides FFXI running poorly. I've even run a handful of older games and applications (including the original DOOM) successfully so far.

Yeah it's weird and different, and yeah it has problems, but if you have any idea how to use a PC it tends to work okay. ish.

vista is kinda hit or miss

for me...it was epic miss

vista can lick my taint

Never bothered with Vista, don't plan on it anytime soon, I've yet to hear anything good about it to counter the complaints.
