Damn, that's one huge sig it is. But yeah, I second OP. Wth is wrong with Bastok man? You got some nifty CP items that you'll never get being last every singe week. Some more effort on you dirty humes goddamnit, you enslaved a Race for nothing? Least you could do is whore them into dominating other areas.
 
Bah last place 5 weeks straight is nothing for Bastok. XD I've been playing since the NA PC release and I've seen Bastok in 1st maybe half a dozen times and 2nd place even less than that. Dunno why that is but ah well lol.

HAHA... I laugh at you when your signet wears and wait I got it for 3 more hours still.

And quite honestly, why should I care, I have all the op teles I can get right now. I'm not looking for any rank specific gear. And really, having siggy last longer really is more conveniant for me. Plus sandy having first puts the carnival near the woodworking guild, so yeah its just more conveniant. So yeah enjoy first place, if that is what is important.

I'll take a stab...Because the idea of making a thread simply to poke fun at Bastok had hoped to be sophomoric and failed at that. ...Because I have no idea that Bastok has been in last place for FIVE weeks, and don't care. I don't care when they take Ronfaure or Sarutabaruta. When did this become newsworthy, and what the fuck's the point, really?

BONERS FOR BASTOK!!!!Who even gives a shit? We get the areas that matter every so often. But really, what does conquest even prove? Maybe if this game had more of a PvP base then it would matter, but it doesn't serve any purpose other than where I have to go to get cooking supplies.

get a good nation, as rank 10 all i can safely say their standing in conquest reflects their standing in plot and in overall cool. a steady consistant 3rd. easiest missions as well.... 9-2 is soloable.

Bastoks plot rocks you, 9-2 is only easy because 9-1 is nearly impossible to get through without headaches. Who cares about Joker/Fenrir and the Lightbringer anyway. It's all about the Galka, and Solid Snakes family history. That's a plot. Not "ONOES SOMEONES STOLEN OUR SWORDS!!!"

It would be easier for Bastok to take control if the newblets of San d'Oria and Windurst didn't keep dying while having Signet on. Especially San d'Oria. Way to go autoselecting it because it's the first nation listed.
 
What really surprises me is the entanglement of Zilart and Tavnazia to all 3 storylines. But hey, its not the Galka's fault Bastok is built in a dust bowl that struggles to win.

i repeat myself, rank 10 all, best plot. 9-1 was cake... i think i actually meant i solo'd 9-1... the jellies right? ya, any blm with a few meds can do it. i'm no crazy rdm soloing 9-2... though it's been done.

Yep, thats a big part of it too. Last on the selection list means less people that have no real interest in the story-aspect of the game selecting it.

I think it's more the fact that people would rather be a cute taru or an awesome elvaan than a boring hume.

Nope, hume is by far the most common race in the game. As of a search all 2 minutes ago, there were 503 humes, 304 elvaan, 292 taru, 76 galka and 192 mithra of all the non-anon people. Most people don't care about their nation until later on in the game, so they usually just pick the first one, namely San d'Oria.
