Maryland / Baltimore / Comcast (ISP) Area = No connection.

If you're having these 1160 errors, where are you?

Milwaukee, WI and still getting 1160-error and my network connection is working flawlessly.

Had 1160 errors all tuesday night, all wednesday until i managed to connect to FFXI about 1 hr before maintenence. Then when I was in my search function wouldnt work at all >.<

Damn you SE, when will you get this shit sorted. I mean at least if the other MMORPG's can avoid this why can't you?

So.... It seems to me like SE is doing some false announcements regarding "connection issues resolved" because I sure as hell can't log. Now that's left for us is the flaming of SE-brain-washed-protectors that swarm Allakhazam.

(seriously, have you guys seen how many people will swear on their knees that this isn't SE fault and we, costumers who pay the monthly fee for a poorly provided service, shouldn't complain about this? If not, just browse through Alla's Main Forum, it's quite amazing)
 
Well if they say that in reguards to out complaining at the update times, then I agree. In reguards to the search function and this new development today though I blame SE. Granted it was bound to happen sooner or later most likely but meh....still shoulden't happen...

Could be that everyone in the world is trying to get on now though. I mean it says its busy and I get the same kind of error messages once a large scale update is over.
 
Seems strange tho, the guy that I spoke to told me it was in isolated areas with certain ISPs only. So far it seems to be true because all of my friends around this area with Comcast have the same problems as well.
 
Havn't checked today (9/14), but South Central Alaska has had problems from what I've seen as well. I havn't been able to log in since Monday Night local time.
 
Earlier I was getting pol-206 or something.

I live in South West Florida.
 
for the last week I have been unable to log on into playonline let alone the game. I have comcast i am in north jersey. happens when i get home at 9pm EST after some time like hour to 2 hours i can get logged on. Its weird. I doubt its my ISP cuz everything is working fine other then connecting this game. I doubt for me anyway that loads of peeps are connecting at same time, since this is happening for a week already.
 
I can get into POL, but XI is a no go.

Same, I get into POL and then I cannot connect to lobby server. It was like this last night too. Only difference now is they don't acknowledge the problem still exists.
 
Everyone can shut up now. I haven't been able to log in since sometime Sunday night.

I hate SE, I hate my ISP and I hate you! Well maybe not that last part, but SE can suck my ^&*$#.
