connection problems

Hour #30 straight of not being able to log in at all. This shit needs to stop. We aren't paying our hard-earned money to sit here and click "Retry" for hours on end.

"certain ISPs"? I'm on Comcast. If Comcast was unable to connect at all, a huge portion of the northeastern USA would be unable to play. This is so dumb, I just wanna get 60 on my BLM and wear my hat, damnit! ;_;

and laggin really badly in the last 2 days.

everything seems to have 2 secs delay and it hurts a lot when i play my warrior :( cant even do first voke effectively. the voke effect didn't kick in like 2-3 secs after i hit my macro. and that hurts my thf's line up T.T

sign .. was getting constant R=0 last month and now this kind of rediculous lag issue.... what's more is come >.<
 
Ugh.

After waiting almost two nights just to log on, I finally get in. No lag or anything, I go out to hunt HQ Antlion Jaws with some friends so I can work on getting Rostrum Pumps.

And what else would happen...but a short power outage. Now I can't get back in.

You guys are right. SE does suck. They should just quit running 11 completely and shut down all the servers, pack up their shit and go back to console gaming. I mean, hey, then you wouldn't have to deal with them. Wouldn't that be wonderful? o.o

Well atleast then we wouldn't have to hear their no-proof bullcrap excuses about DDoS attacks and crappy CSRs.

But you know what? I would just miss Front Mission Online that much more :(
 
Game's back up now, got my Ninja to level 15 and Goldsmithing to level 5. All in all a good night. :)
 
For those in the dark i just wanted to throw this out there, someone asked me earlier what DDoS attacks were so without further adue go go wikipedia:

As the definition explains it would be quite difficult to nail down where the bogus packets are coming from; however i do agree that some sort of proof should be shown on the side of SE as we've been dealing with this excuse for the better part of a year and a half now.

I know you're being sarcastic, but i'm starting to think they should go back to doing what they did so well in the past. Although, I have to admit Fantasy Earth looks like it might turn out to be pretty cool. Problem is, you will still have to log in through POL. :cry:
 
I had no problems yesterday with connecting to the game. I even logged out and on to check alla a few times. I did notice after Dejan went to temp log and I die that I was the only one in the LS. Which I was like wtf this LS always has people in it. I live in Boston and use comca$t. So i know it wasnt an isp issue with them.
