Connection problems?

It seems ever since Christmas day, i've had problems with FFXI. I'll log in, play for a while, and all the sudden my POL connection will be lost. The time varies, so i don't think it's an issue with being banned/booted (that and as far as i know i haven't done anything wrong, and i've never had a GM visit.)

So is anyone else having problems with their connection to FFXI? or am i the only poor soul with this problem?

YES..I can log onto POL but not FFXI..dunno - POL says it's my connection..trying my ISP today - but how come everything else works? They said it was something to do with open ports? I hate being technologically illiterate.

And my gardening has to be dead. Soo much gil down the drain><
