Connection problems?

Anyone e lse having some serious connection problems? As soon as I log on the game, I get disconnected the very same second and red dot. I can still /sea all and everything, just that I DC the very same second I log on... Occasionally I get "connected" again for less then half a second, and then I DC again...

nope my connection is ok. Are you wireless or wired.

I play the game on my laptop wireless and i dont have any issues.

Both. My Wireless connection is at 100%. Switching over to wired doesn't help, nor did renewing the IP or restarting modem/router.

ok, try going into settings and disable "WEB" your Ip might also be limiting your bandwidth.

I had a problem when i had WEB key enabled, I also did a hard shutdown of my pc, router and modem.

Unplug your modem and wait 10 secs then unplug your router. wait at least 1 min and plug in your modem 1st followed by your router. Then restart your pc.

By the way i am going to school for Computer Network tech. This is 1 of the most common fixes for a home network.

Yes, I know. I took networking classes as well. I've already tried it by fixing my network at home. And my ISP isn't limiting the network. I have 10 Mbit/s connection, as well.

I tried logging on my mules, and that works just fine... Uzor's in Valkurm Dunes, though, so I'm thinking it might be a problem with that one zone in particular, or possibly region.

i am currently in La thiene and it is very laggy, a ls mate also says its extremely bad in Valkurm, so maybe thats the reason coz i was fine in sandy and my nets working fine too

Yeah, I have the problem in Valkurm and Sandy so far... not sure what other areas.

After over 3 hours with being able to take 1 step every now and then, I managed to run from the OP to La Theine, and from there I ran to Tavnazia to warp to Aht Urhgan. Right now I don't have any problems, so its something that seem to only happen in a select few areas. Valkurm and South San d'Oria being two of them.

Naturally the problem seem to be solved when I was thinking of heading to bed...

/sigh, the one day I come home early from work and think that it would be a great opportunity to level SCH.
