On top of my eyeballl, all covered in fluid....I lost my poor contacts lens when I was asleep.

But yeah, I lost my contact lense last nighht and I have no more until Tuesday and I have work tomorrow and when I keep both eyes open I get a massive headache after like, 10ish minutes. So I need to call out, and get some lenses or something and it's annoying as all hell. Plus my glasses i will be ordering tues as well...Sucks they're closed today...so I'm pretty much asking a friend who has the same prescription if she will let me get a lens from her.

Just thought the situation was kinda funny and this is my lame attempt to crack a few smiles to people on the boards.
 
I feel your pain man, its why I get stacks of contacts in advance to avoid the chance of what happened to you. I do the contacts/glasses combo if I can afford it most times so I have a backup. Glasses are more for when im too lazy to walk into the bathroom and pop the contacts in. I mainly use contacts for going out to do things like when I play Ice Hockey and whatnot.
 
Yeah. The MAIN reason this happened was because I switched insurance carriers and had to get all that worked out, plus get another eye exam and I also lost a box of contacts when I went on a trip. I can manage until Tues, just no driving for me. (Since it's hard to judge distance with one eye)
 
I don't like contacts. Tired em out for awhile but just didn't like the feel. Plus i don't mind glasses.
 
I like glasses, plus, I have a phobia of things being in or near my eyeballs.. no contacts for me! :p

True that, and nice pic.

I picked a nice pair of glasses I can pull off, they're 'artistic' if you will...that of which are semi boxy and a bit wide. I'll show you all when I get 'em.

Good news though. I remembered I had a box of contacts at my friends for just the occasion. Found 4 lenses in the box, though .25 off my current prescription. They work though. :)

My problem with contacts is that I'm an ass, and whenever i got drunk i would just throw them out instead of putting them into the solution before passing out. I went through contacts like crazy before i just gave up.

Now that I don't drink nearly as often as I used to, I considered going back, but I'm poor as fuck, so it's low on my priority list.

With contacts I usually buy a 6 month or a year supply after I get my annual eye checkup so I have some backups just in case. It sucks not having an extra set lying around somewhere so I understand where you are coming from. My glasses I only wear at night before I go to bed to read or what not.
 
I can wear 6 pears of contacs for an entire year, but when I lose one or two my schedule gets all fucked up :/

Im considering the contacts you wear at night that shape your eye so you see during the day.

Those things are like...200$+? I'm debating those too. But I would forget to put 'em in.

Not sure about the $200 part but, the contacts I wear now can be worn at night and I guess they conform really well to my eye, I just threw out a pair that I'd worn about... a year now? They only cost like 60 bucks.

Needless to say I love contacts. Learning to touch your eyeball without flinching is pretty cool too.

Can you do that Myrrh!? shut up
 
I dunno I can touch my eyeball and fap pretty consistent, sounds like at least 2 upsides to me.
