Cooking

One homemade marshmallows are the best, one of the few things I am so happy to of learned too make, and I so lol'd at the broken mixer. I maybe a chick, but posting still! I like to cook, tho most of the time as of late I never do unless it is asked of me to. Sweet treats on the other hand, well I'm a pastry chef <or assistant... but working on it!> I bake 2-3 times every week just because that is my passion love to try new ideas and use the family as my testers ^^ they are getting chubby tho I am happy summer is coming they can go out and work it off

I cook about 5-6 nights a week. Although, admittedly, 90% of those meals I just throw something on my hibachi grille while I sit outside and haved a beer with my neighbour.

I never eat fast food. Have you guys SEEN the things they put in that stuff??? Good god.

I also baked one killer 8 layer cake for my friends this past thanksgiving. Nothing but pudding and whipped cream, with fresh strawberries, and really thin layers of cake in between. Hot damn... I think I'm gonna make another one tomorrow! haha

I will admit, I sometimes fail at cooking things though. I tried to make one of the simplest things the other day... spaghetti and meatballs, but the meatballs were really dry tasting and ended up falling apart. I used the slow cooker and everything! Guess I left it on too long... ah well.

But I do know what your talking about Uzor. I've met people recently (my current gf) who can't even make grilled cheese without botching it up! So sad...
Yeah... they put horrible things in fast food.

And how on earth do you manage to fail at making meatballs? >.> Its so easy... And I just love to grill. Make some Bearnaise sauce to it and you're in heaven.

I DON'T KNOW!!! :shok:

I grilled up some kick ass Tilapia today. Worchtershire(sp?) sauce and lemon juice, with some chopped up chives on top. Perfect!

I cook the vast majority of my own food. After 8 years of mess hall fare, I prefer to do it myself.

I cook usually 2-5 times a day. Ranging from Steak,Beef Liver, Chicken, Whole chickens, Chicken Liver, and so on. I'm watching Food network atleast 5 hours a day. I love food and I love making things that taste so good. Although, for the life of me, I can't fucking cook basic eggs. Give me a complex recipe and I can make it without problems. Tell me to make sunny side up Eggs and I fail.

I make one thing and i make em damn good... nachos. In fact, I'm gonna go make some chicken nachos right now. God damn I can never have enough nachos, but sadly thats about all I can cook (well not that I can't cook, i just prefer to be a lazy ass and not do shit).

I'm a klutz.

Uncle has his own Thai Restaurant up in Boca, so I've learned a few things around his kitchen; but when I'm trying to cook in general I wind up burning myself or something. >_<;

My diet when I'm training is very rudimentary and nothing too tasty.

Just chicken, rice, pasta and more chicken with the occasional day of red meat...Maybe some fruit.

I think at its most spartan, I'd just cook small whole chickens, and eat them with a ketchup with a lower sodium content and maybe some brown rice.

When I'm being very lazy I fast from normal food and just go on meal replacement drinks.

Real good for shredding up on a cutting cycle, though it takes a few days for me to adjust and quit craving solid food...

Still trying to kick the soda habit again though.

I have slid out of the old lifestyle.

God give me a woman that can/doesn't mind cooking! >_>

I cook at least six nights a week.

I made a fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken and garlic sauteed broccoli tonight. Topped it with fresh squeezed lemon juice and some parmesan cheese. For dessert there's peach cobbler.

Omg drooooool, I love Italian food!

i actually cook for a living..does this count me out?

God I have had a taste for chicken alfredo. Olive Garden has a pretty mean Chicken with Gnochi (SP?) in a cheese sauce.

Seriously I need to learn how to cook really well. I'm alright at this moment in time and could sustain myself if I had to cook for myself, but if I don't have a recipe I'm kind of clueless except for hot dogs, burgers, breakfast sandwiches, and some chicken stuff.

I should start cooking every night so whenever I move out I can be prepared to improvise.

I cook, but I don't really clean <,<

Actually I am the only guy in my Foods 11/12 class and I gotta say... It's pretty great for the most part, in a class with all girls, most hot. I cook two times a week, and it's a guaranteed easy ass A.

Only thing I could care less about is that I'm apparently a fag for joining foods according to my friends. Way I see it, easy A, hot girls, FOOD!

I cook. Nothing too fancy, usually nothing that takes longer than 30 mins. Mostly I eat microwavable or other quick-fix shit, but if I feel like it I can cook steak and fried potatoes or bake a cake or something like that, I'm not retarded in the kitchen like some people I know, but I'm not a super-chef or anything, unless we're talking about eggs, than I am. If the recipe is based around the egg, I can make it really well. For some reason me and eggs just get along.

edit: not a mixer... you know, those electrical whipping machines. wtf are they called in english anyway? >.O my mind's drawing a blank... possibly due to being 3 AM

An electric beater? Saying mixer works just as well.

As for the red lobster in fort collins... those things are cheese bricks. <_<

Fort Collins Colorado? If that's the case...well what the fuck do you expect, it's Colorado.
