Eh, yeah. Another one of these threads. Congratz to the following people on beating the best/most frustrationg/most fun/most expensive(money and xp wise :roll: ) set of missions in this game:

The following may or may not contain spoilers about CoP. Read at your own risk. This warning also applies to any posts following mine, so beware.
So this morning, we went into the BCNM in 8-3. It contained 4 pot looking like mobs except they were...err...different. 2 were blms and 2 rdms. They don't like to sleep unless you Elemental Seal so you get limited time of sleeping. I would consider this to be the hardest fight of CoP(unless your one of those people who uses a smn cannon for Ouryu and Mithran Trackers and the like. Then its easy just like Divine might is with 17 blms). We had already lost 3 times in this bcnm a few days ago(the most I've lost in any Cop BCNM, previous record was 2 for many fights >_>) But today, we were ready, we knew what to do. We went in, started on the first blm pot. Nikky and I unleash a devastating light SC, while Black Thunder IV MBs it and Uzor Chainspell MBs Thunder III. The first pot goes down withint 10 seconds of when we start beating his ass. Nikky gets to Mighty Strikes and Rampage the next blm, though paralyze ate her icarus wing :|
So the 2 blms are down, we get into a corner of the room and let the rdms beat us down. This fight is basically impossible to win without wiping once(unless again your using a blm/smn cannon). We get back up kick the rdms around and bit wrap this bcnm up. Not too bad now that we knew exactly what to do when.
Onto the next battle, against the Twilight God Promathia himself. We have Prishe and Sel'theus helping. Prishe can hundred Fists, benediction. Seltheus can use Rejuviation which is full hp, mn, and 300 tp. Promathia has 2 forms, we kick the first form around. {Too Weak}. Then comes the second form and we get annihilated. We hadn't expected anything of the sort. He sput such a silence on the mages that they spent like a whole stack of Echo drops before it came off. Ok, that was bad. K we reraise up and stuff and try a 2nd time.
This time we do a lot better, we get the damn God to 1%, but at this point we're slowly dying off, and in the end only Ach left and Nikky weakened. Apparently in the heat of winning Achelois forgot he needed to kite and uhh meteor kills him. Prishe kicks the bucket as well and then goes Nikky. We lost instantly, with the god standing at 1%. Psst, he dispelled all our reraises.
We decide we'll try one more time, we had our 2hrs back and everything. Well this fight went perfect. I started with a 1400 Ground Strike and 1000 Light SATAed on Achelois, this helped a LOT with the hate during kiting. Now the kiting part, we did so much better. Anything promathia tried would be "Too far." He got out 1 meteor out of maybe 6-7 through the whole fight. We did so well that Prishe and Seltheus, who use their 2hrs when they get to a certain hp didnt even use any. Not one death through the whole fight. Ironically he didn't dispel my reraise this time :|
So yeah, the god of twilight went down! Can't wait for my ring and the rest of the scenes tomorrow.(You cant do the scenes until JP midnight passes once after beating promathia...how lame).
