COP - - - Status: COMPLETE!

I am working on getting them hosted. I have like 170 more lol

OMG guys I'm still in shock, I think. I have a huge sense of accomplishment but it is so bittersweet, we will no longer be spending 6-8 hours a week together. Fussing, encouraging each other, laughing together and sometimes crying, (well I'm a cryer lol maybe you guys didn't). I loved ever minute of it and I always looked forward to getting together with you guys. It's just hard to believe that it is over.

Ibariba always had a plan for us, and was always ready to sacrifice himself for the win. Honestly I was doubtful about doing this with a taru tank in the beginning, but you have proven time and again how incredible you are. Iba you may be small but you cast a huge shadow.

(Iba during the promathia cutscene before the fight: "OMG I've got to tank THAT? It's bigger than a golem!")

Lanien the good natured bard and sometimes dragoon...you never let anything get to you, your attitude was always great even when things weren't going so great. As a blm I never once went without ballad or needed to ask for it, you did your job superbly. You have a terrific sense of humor and you were a constant delight to me. I'm sorry you rebroke your arm punching filing cabinets because you dc'ed right before 8-3.

Makelith you were our quiet one, the strong silent type to be sure. As our only melee DD, you had to spend a small fortune on icky wings and sleeping pots LOL. You never bitched about the cost, tho. One of the funniest things that happened is when you were sleeping your TP to 300% and Fire kept waking you up by curing you. I was falling out of my chair laughing.

Firebrand the white mage who kept us alive, you always took it personally when someone died. Sometimes I thought that we need to move our computers apart. Like in different rooms in the house LOL or maybe in different houses completely. I feel like if our marriage has survived CoP, it can survive anything.

Thank you for the night I couldn't stay awake, it was when we were popping the three NM's in sea, you helped me to not let the team down by letting me put you on follow and waking me up to nuke.

I don't think the others realized how hard it was on you to do such a late night static. Often staying up till 3 am when you had to get up at 5 am, sometimes two nights in a row was hard for you but you did it for the team. Oh and I love you.

Pan you were the biggest challenge for me. Sometimes you drove me crazy, and I was always a bit jealous because you are a better blm than me. I know you are quitting the game now and I wish you the best in whatever you do.

I love you guys, being a part of this static was an honor and a priviledge. It was an experience I will never forget.

Makelith quiet? Seriously how did you guys manage that one. I have never seen the guy shut up.

Congrats on finishing you guys. Your setup would also work in the apocalypse nigh fight. If you wanted to get together for one last very fun fight.

Grats guys ^^

I do not know how many people would read this and get anything out of what I'll write, but I started this static in anticipation of having a dedicated group to get through CoP together. I probably could not have asked for better.

When it came to the end today, I realized that it is just that, THE END. There is no more frustration of having to actually do these missions, no more gathering, no more cutscene's or wasting money on items that will only get eaten up by a paralyze or death.

Lanien's first picture is something that is quite special, not to say moreso than anyone else's :). It is OUR group's personal triumph over CoP right after we beat Promathia. Six strangers brought together for a common goal. Even though it is a game, that moment cannot be duplicated.

We now move on our separate ways. Whether it be quitting or moving onto whatever the future of the game will bring, there is nothing more special than the friendships and good times from the memories that this moment brings.

We aren't the first people to finish CoP - The fact that six people will no longer get together for the common goal seems surreal. As the leader of the group, I feel the that everyone moves on with a part of me whererever they end up, and even in a game, that this is something that should be a reminder to everyone that will hopefully go through these as missions at some point.

The missions are hard to do but extremely worth it, stick it through and get the content to the end, it makes it that much more worth it to savor every moment, because you get it only once.

Thank you to everyone that helped in the beginning as well, and to the members who made it to the end with me as well. Thinking back, this makes signing on and fighting all those mobs and doing all those cutscenes some of the more fun things I've done in game, so thank you.

I can truely apreciate the sentiment in this post, my tuesday CoP static was a total blast, went from rivierine site A => end. My Tuesdays still kinda feel empty without it.

Kink and I spent last night together, traveling in a leisurely way to do the final cutscenes, and to get our rings. We didn't rush, but elected to take our time, travel together, and to fully enjoy the moments. The final cutscenes bring a lot of closure to the underlying stories that wind through all the missions. They are also very beautiful and moving scenes to experience.

Kink, I really loved traveling with you to experience these things and to get our Tamas Rings together. Thank you again for everything.

Congratulations Lan!

Well, like a complete idiot, I forgot to turn on Fraps for the final cutscene at Blueblade Falls and I am totally regretting it. It was such a beautiful scene. I hope I can find it somewhere to download it.

Ok. This is a long time coming. I finally decided to upload some of the better pictures.

Once again to the static I was in, thank you so much for everything. I was gone for a while, but I am coming back to FFXI soon. I am in the process of getting my internet hooked back up.(I'm still stealing it from the neighbors.)

Hope to see you all soon.
