So i bought CoP when it came out and i really havent used much of its main features yet. The whole promyvion hasnt really applied to me yet because of my job list. i have a 59 drk, 15 thf, and 30 war. I really want to get some of these promyvions done so i can access the new areas and quests but i really dont want to spend all that time getting rng, blm, whm etc to lvl 30. is this the only way that i could complete the promyvions? would a drk be absolutely useless in a promyvion party? what about that new gear that grants "empty killer". would that make drk any better?

I was also thinking that i could lvl nin to 15 and use utsusemi with my war as a tank. would this work? if i must lvl one of those jobs to 30 than i guess i will have to but i was really hoping i could just use drk. any input on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
Just get NIN to 15 and go as WAR/NIN, NIN to 15 isn't too hard and you'll be able to do your proms.

The OTHER thing is to spend some time, devise a strategy, and make your own party based around your DRK, that way you can go as DRK so long as you know what steps and such you can take.
 
As Tsumaru suggested, leveling ninja would probably be the simplest way to go about getting into pts for promyvion.
 
Yup, WAR/NIN is a great job to have for Promyvions. Regardless of which way you do it, I strongly suggest farming animas. The only boss I didn't find them to be necessary was Dem, because that one is easy. :roll: But Holla... that guy is a total bitch unless you keep him sedated on animas the whole time. :lol:
