CoPaFeel vs Diabolos

We decided to go and kill Diabolos against our LS's best attempts to convince us otherwise. No one in the CoP static had a DRK high enough to Stun. In fact, 3 of our BLM insisted they used DRK as a bloodwarp job.

After long discussion, we figured that RDM/BLU might fill the bill as a stunner, and our NIN tanks (2 of them) saved TP for Flat Blade as an insurance policy. We plotted our escapade, buffed up, and dropped in to the arena. Long story short, we blasted away, Head Butted and Flat Bladed him into submission and sucked up 2 Nightmares in the process, but we beat him.

So to those of you who thought you must have a DRK to stun, remember that the new jobs offer you new ways to get around old problems. For the record, Head Butt (capped blue magic, /BLU, maxed out +int) proc'ed about 50% of the time, Flat Blade proc'ed 100%.

he used it 4 times, it was quite insane, but its really good to be 1/1 on this fight

Maybe we picked the wrong day ....lets hope he doesn't do it that much for the Prime.

It was definately nice to get it over with. Especially when I was down to 12 hp when he croaked.

Useful AND entertaining! Try being in a CoP static with Galaika on Vent with that crazy english accent. At the end of the the nailbiting Omega fight, he was shouting
