Costume Questions

I am pretty curvy but I'm pretty short. Tristam hasn't decided what he's doing. I was picking at my sister about being my Poison Ivy since we're red heads. I don't think it would be appropriate for her to wear while she's taking her son trick or treating though. XD

BTW I got the sewing pattern for the costume from this lady. It looks doable and I should have time to do it. The only problem is I'm not too experienced with sewing. I'm probably going to end up asking my Mom tons of questions. I'm sure she won't mind though. lol

Are you going to have a matching joker to go with it ?
Probably not. I have a shaven head and wigs look moronic, and as the Joker will likely be a popular costume this year, I'll probably not be doing that.

I've considered the following:

- a Dunedain Ranger; something I've always wanted to be (not just for Halloween)
- a Dark Knight - working on scythe designs now, and I have the chainmaille hauberk and spaulders to work with it.
- Darth Vader sans helmet. I want to make the suit, and have makeup to make me look like a battle-scarred Anakin. Probably would make the helmet half-ripped-off of my head.
- Darth Maul. I had a few ideas for this, but I'm not built enough to do it effectively (read: I'd need full robes instead of the comic version).

Bolded, x 1000. DO IT!!!

Tristam Green has a home-made cloak already, that he's worn for about 5-6 years. I just put a new set of clasps on it too, metal ones for durability.

Believe me when I say this: Aragorn, Faramir, the Grey Company, and the Ithilien Rangers easily trump any other human characters in the Tolkien mythos to me, aside from maybe Turin and Tuor.

I always wanted a druid robe and just walk around in that at school/public all day for religious purposes ya know? xD
