Does anyone know where to find the plug-in that counts your shadows? I was told about this and I was wondering where you could find it?

Only plugin I know of is on FFassist, which is a pain in the ass to find.

I can't pull the site up right now, but ffxi.archbell.com » Forums

Under 'Other Programs' I think, there's a sticky entitled "Looking for a plugin? Check here!". Go there and search for an app called UtsuWatch. This is not a plugin, it runs independantly from Windower.

It is also semi-braindead in that, if you cast Utsu: Ni, it will always say you have 4 shadows even if you are /nin (which gives only 3 shadows). Aside from that, this thing is perfect.

better idea
change when u dodge an attack to green
when your shadow takes one as gold
and you can keep track easy

Except that you can't do that, you can only change the color of all avoided attacks, so that counts blink, utsusemi, parry, and actual evasion as the same thing for changing colors.

Learn to not be lazy and count like the rest of us though ;p

well makeing it stand out helps lol

I never even knew something like this existed, ofcourse I also learned to count to 4 before I even started kindergarten so I guess it never really mattered to me.

utsuwatch is fantastic for nin main, got it before I got the scroll and I can run shadows really easily with it. Just wished it was as good for /nin

For /nin why not use the windower plugin? lol

C'mon now, how lazy can it get? Just count the damn shadows and call it a day. I count shadows even when I'm not playing ninja.

-Edit-

Not really saying that directly to you Dirzain, but more towards the overall who require these 2nd-party programs because they can't just do things in their mind.

I posted this because a friend asked me about it. I'm sorry, I just was wondering about it and I thought that that'd be a cool thing to have. -- I'm sorry

I want a plugin that shows a list of all my songs and their recasts, a plugin that shows me the area my songs will cover. Hmmm what else.......
scary thing is its all ready here lol got the code some where ><

In a lot of situations, I can't keep track of shadows. I "main" co-tanked for more than half of my war career, and there were a lot of situations (mainly links / pulls of a mob w/ a pet) that come to mind where it's easy to lose track of shadows, especially when you only have :Ichi and you need to know when you're down to 1 left.

Between macro mashing, hate control, timing chains/ja's, watching the surrounding area for links, and upholding a steady conversation on Vent about the size of our respective dumps that evening... watching shadows is tough man. Plus with a painful cast time of 4 seconds for Ichi, you sometimes don't have enough time to pop up your chat log to manually count how many shadows you've lost / have left.

The information contained in the message above was a lame excuse by a braindead stoner who can't remember what he just typed. You want the real reason for a plugin like this? Right there buddy.

<Thanks for the offer but i'll have to pass> It'd make the game boring as hell. Plus that's just for people who can't play the damn job.
