This thread is my first flame (woo hoo), and points out something that happens ALL THE TIME. I wish it serves two purposes:

1. make people realize Decidence is both dumb and an asshole (doesn't take too much to realize this though).

2. make people be courteous to each other, especially cannon PTs in sky.

Long story short:

Johnnyb and I setup a nice WAR-cannon PT, going to sky for weapons. We get there, check main entrance to Shrine, it's empty of EXP PTs, we're happy and start kicking the shit out of weapons for badass EXP. So far so good.

At some point, we run into a BoL team with Decidence in it, starting a cannon at the same place we have been exp-ing for an hour or so. If you know this area, you also know there can only be one such PT in there, otherwise the EXP just plain sucks and you're better of doing regular PT (i.e. non-roaming) somewhere else.

So I write in /say: Please be courteous and go elsewhere

Ignored...

I tell Decidence to get the fuck out, since we were here first. He replies in /say don't you dare /tell me or something about as stupid as this. Boo hoo, you're so scary Decidence lol

We continue for a while, and it's a big fight to get the weapons. Of course, the best we (both PTs) do is chain4 which sucks for such cannon parties. We were obviously here first and there are at least 3 other places you can do such cannon PTs in sky. After an hour or that BS, we end up giving up because it's ruining both EXP and fun...

Question:

Why the fuck would they not EXP elsewhere, for both our PTs' sakes, seeing that we were here first? Why the heck didn't they check before starting a cannon?

The answer is:

Decidence is both an asshole and plain dumb (for not realizing he's ruining 2 PTs exp, including his). And BoL PT members that accepted to go along with this shit are just as dumb as he is. That includes Cami, Xanion (spell? some BRD), Touge, and two others I don't recall.

Conclusion: what did we learn?

1. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND CHECK THE PLACE BEFORE STARTING A CANNON PT IN SKY. If there is a regular exp PT or another cannon, go to another area. You can do Aura Weapons on the way to Ulli, you can go do the weak golems in the center of the shrine, you can go to the opposite side from main entrance for exactly the same kind of parties on weapons, and there are usually nobody there.

2. Decidence proved once again that he is the dumb fuck everyone knows he is, by thinking he's allowed to do what the fuck he wants in this game and not care about fellow players. The fact that 5 other BoL players accepted to play this stupid "game" just makes it even worse for the LS that was trying to get a good rep back, but obviously ruined it. Boy, you guyz are really low in my book right now. Don't expect courtesy from OH whatever or wherever you are.

I'm noob levels still, and i don't know SKy at all yet, but still, i'm sure there was better areas for that guy to go to! Mpk his ass!

2. I didn't say shit to you guys, we were perfectly happy getting Chain 6 while you were there and Chain 12 after you left (you want screenshots?)
3. You msg me and told me to "get the fuck out" after I hadn't said anything to you.
4. I messaged back "don't /tell me you fucking fag" or something in that context.

The issue is, we were perfectly happy getting chain12 before you came and not happy after (30% exp cut, no thanks).

The issue is, why not going somewhere else when you realize there are people doing the same thing at the same place or worse even, if there is a non-roaming PT exp-ing. The next area to do this kind of things is 5min away, wow, big deal.

You're the retard since you don't even see what the issue is. Once again, no surprise there.
 
And btw, didn't you guys just recruit Penut... the gilseller supporting thief that steals Nobles Tunics from his former LS and lies about selling it?

30% XP cut is still Chain 8-9 then... keep on spewing numbers out your ass.
 
Who cares 30% or whatever, I didn't calculate that number dumb fuck.
I doubt that with the gimp setup you had you could've killed faster than us anyway.

Ohhh I'm so pleased we have recruited Penut now that you mention it. At first I wasn't too pleased about it, but now that I know it hurts your gimp ass, I almost just had an orgasm. Bah nevermind, you ruined the moment.

I don't really want to take a side on this Decidence thing, but I think it's high time someone posted about being courteous. There are WAY too many accounts in which people aren't nice enough to help a little guy out when he's in trouble. If you see a Warrior resting on the ground trying to solo exp while looking for a party, and you're in no real hurry and not on a chocobo or anything, give him a cure! If you're running past someone and they ask for a D2, it's only nice to help the guy out. It's not gonna take more than 10 seconds of your time, and you're gonna save him a bundle of time.

Also, don't MPK, don't be rude in parties, don't kick for no reason, don't blacklist if the guy's just plainly pissing you off.

I know it's not your "job" to go out of your way for a second to help somoene, but it's called being mature and nice. That's what makes this game so much better than all the other MMORPG's, is the fact that you can help eachother out so much. If you don't wanna help people, go play WoW!
 
While it might be wrong of them to camp on top of you Kalen, you could still move to that camp 5 min away if it's available. Sometimes you have to do things you don't like in order to make it better for yourself <.<;

And Decidence, what on earth does Penut have to do with stealing exp camps?
 
We were here first, why would I move? (we ended up moving anyway, btw, seeing they did not).

i would camp on someone in a minute, if i wanted exp.
you mean to tell me i should not camp somewhere because there is a PT there.
or if someone has coffer comment in their comment box i should not go to that area to get my coffer..

you were their first ok. blame se for nothing having anywhere else to go for this PT setup.

just stfu and exp. if your good enough kill faster and take their mobs while they are fighting, make them leave.

or maybe you could of ask nicely, that might of worked.
 
Stigmatas, go in the same "dumb ass" corner as Decidence, you belong together obviously.

I asked nicely twice, it was ignored.

They decided to make a drastic cut in both their exp and ours. It's stupid (need I explain why?).

They decided to camp on top of us, it's rude.

I second that post about courtesy. This server doesn't need neither you nor Decidence, it would be helluva lot nicer.
 
About Penut... was in gilseller LS? Yes. Honestly just being in gilseller LS alone is not bad enough to warrant exclusion IMO unless he actually himself sold gil or participated in MPK. BoL has in the past as well done things of the sort but I didn't take that to mean every BoL member forever even after leaving LS will be stained with bad reputation. Mostly... time = people forget.

As for any noble tunic thievery. I heard one thing alone about that, and it was from an anonymous poster on our linkshell recruiting board. I was myself extremely upset someone would come in and slander a recruit and not even have the balls to say their name. I remember one time I posted as a guest on ESP's board about the stolen O-Bow, and I KNEW some people would hold it against me, but I still had the freaking balls to say it was me saying it.

So in the future, if something was stolen from you, and you want to let it be known to potential linkshells, DO NOT POST ANONYMOUSLY. For all I know, it's someone who just doesn't like the applicant and is simply making things up. If the name had been said I'd have talked to them in game to confirm it was really them and then factor it in to the decision process.
 
Did I forget to mention you can go 4 different such places in Sky with this exact PT setup and they didn't bother moving when they saw us? Err, guess not, you just didn't quite read my post.

Penut is still in high school, can you even make money by gil selling then? dont you need a bank account or something, and that would require you to to be 18 to get a paypal account and bank account i believe.
