CP Arrow Question

I was wondering do they give you 99 of those CP arrows (ex: Patriarch protector's Arrow) when you trade in 32k CP, or give you 1 arrow per 32k CP... if this is true, what is the point of getting it? lol stats look great.. but don't think is worth throwing away just like that unless it give you 99

You only get 1, only good for using it to Unlimited Shot then WS with. Rather stupid, especially since many people lose it to macro errors or lag. =\

One or two isn't bad, I shot 7 Gold Musketeer Bolt (Bastok's PPA equivalent) before giving up.

Last 4-5 I had them for a while tho, safest way to use those is to have 3 macros for it:

A) A recast one to know if Unlimited Shot is up (/recast) (I put all abilities in that macro, barrage, sharpshot, berserk, etc.)

B) A SEPERATE macro for Unlimited Shot, donT put it in your WS macro. That way you can see if the animation happens or not and avoid lag while using a WS macro.

C) A different macro for WS with PPA, along with a regular arrow WS macro. Put the PPA one AFTER the regular one, worst case scenario is you use the regular macro with Unlimited Shot, reducing DMG but you keep your PPA.

Also, don't swap ammo back to regular in your PPA-WS macro. Instead, use /equip Ammo "Demon Arrow" in your regular RA macro. That way you automatically reload when you're out of ammo and you always switch ammo back after a WS.

Still, there's always a chance of shooting the PPA if you're out of Demon Arrow, on your next regular attack. Best way to keep your PPA is to stay cool, don't try to force a WS in before a mob dies, that's usually when you go to fast and shoot it without U.S.

Do what Veresko said, that's what many good RNGs have recommended and keep an eye out for the "equipment change" message, that's a good sign to know the arrows have changed. Also a good idea to have the equip macro far away from anything you might accidentally hit. Not entirely the same thing, but I had my benediction macro next to my reraise macro so at the start of fights, I'd hit it by accident which not surprisingly turns quite a few heads...

Lol I once when young and foolish had my Warp macro end of row next to some other little used spells, once in Crawlers Nest I accidently did a runner on my party. :shok:

One more thing I forgot, in a WS macro that use CP ammo, use <stnpc> for targeting rather then <t>. This requires you to confirm your target (and your action at the same time), for those time where you go "shit" just as you press your macro. Saved me a few times.

im the idiot green is talking about. why am i an idoit? cause im building CP for a third arrow. i have all the macros that Vere mentioned already but i forgot to set my pull macro to equip my standard ammo for lost arrow #2. i've since fixed that. lets see how long it takes for me to lose #3 when i get it.

I put this in my shadowbind macro after wasting my only PPA the 2nd time(used item recovery because i shadowbound faust w/ it about 2hrs after getting it lol)
