I would have looked this up on Alla., but they keep timing out for some reason. So here it goes. Am I only able to trade in the items that they are asking for for guild points? Like when they ask for Gloves in the weavers guild, am I only able to to trade them in at that time? And if so, does anyone know if there is a timer or some kind of way i can tell that certian items will be accepted? Any help would be appriciated^^ thanks.

Every cycle you get a new item traded. So every game week the item resets. After the week is over,you can't trade that item for guild points.
 
well considering i have a ton of heko obi's, it looks like its going to be a while b4 i can give them into the NPC. :(

this site provides info on the patterns that occur and the possible items that will be coming up. It also tells you todays item and how many points you get for it. Very useful if you're working on guild points. the item changes every day around 9:30-10:00 am cst. You can only turn in that days item.
 
The guild item changes at roughly midnight Tokyo time(10 estish). There is a diffrent guild day item every 24 human hours. At that time you can only trade in the requested item and its HQ version(s).
 
One thing you also have to keep in mind is that there is a maximum guild point you can get per RL day/ game week. This maximum changes with the item. So if you are holding on a ton of a certain item and waiting for it to be asked for, remember that you may be able to turn in just 4-5.

Plus, it might take a while. They said in the last update they included the new items for guild points, but I am yet to see the alchemy guild asking for Anima or Photoanima... :evil: (I still have a TON of those...)

Daylight savings time is back :roll: so it's 11:00 AM EST now.

how much crafting is involved to get the PIMP glasses.

the glasses probably require 70k guild points, and the most I've seen per day is ~6k guild points. Depending on what you turn in and when, and if you're willing to wait for cheaper items to be required, the cost will vary. It also depends on how you get the items to turn in. Yesterday If I had bought the items for my GP from an npc, it would have cost 140k, but only about 65k to make them, assuming that I bought everything.
 
well i have like 19 or so Heko Obi's that i dont really want to NPC cause it would be a total waste, so atm i'm just doing the Delivery Box Shuffle so i have some room in my MH. Oh and BTW i was wondering, when are we going to see that NPC that will store low level sets of gear? Does anyone have any clues about it?
 
theres an npc that will store lower lev sets of gear?

I only know about the npc that stores af gear sets.
 
yeah there was an announcement on the SE site about there going to be an NPC that will store sets of gear in the near future, i just wish that they would do this soon.
 
Hate when they want really rare crap. Clothcraft guild wanted Mist Slacks yesterday... ><
 
Hey, try a holy shield from Alchemy guild yesterday >.< 200K for 4 000 points.... right.......

Or better even, en Ether tank that costs 15-20K to make... 220 points...

Whoever designed that system never used a crystal in their life!

I will buy all of em for 500 gil if you want. Look me up ingame I usualy am chilling in jeuno.

Never gonna get glasses ;-;
Think they want Silk Slacks for me today, but chances are by the time I get into FFXI there won't be any anywhere, and the cost to synth is almost 1.8x the cost to get from AH..

Naw its cool yesterday i was able to get rid of all my obi's cause it just so happened that they wanted them^^. so i gave them all if for a total of 2080 points. But thanks for the offer, /bow
